How to find yourself in a book | Ask a Book Critic

For our very last episode, a listener asked for books with disabled protagonists. Specifically, characters whose disability is not their defining trait. Ask a Book Critic will continue in text form, so don’t stop sending your requests! Check out vox.com/ask-a-book-critic. Thank you for listening!
    Constance recommends:

The Cormoran Strike books by Robert Galbraith

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Welcome to The White Lotus | What to Watch

Welcome to The White Lotus | What to Watch

HBO’s hit series The White Lotus takes the darkly comedic mind of creator Mike White and turns it loose on an elite resort in Hawaii. It’s a very funny, very engrossing look at the global mega-rich, with phenomenal performances up and down the cast list. And you can watch all six episodes right now.

Jyk77 ,

Edited, they’re reading reviews

Good content, but I’m already subscribed to most of Vox’s content. At least one episode a day is repackaged out of something I’ve already heard.

Also, they drop all three episodes in the morning at the same time. I’d prefer either intentionally making a variety show with a single host to give it a theme or dropping episodes throughout the day to give my feed a break.

Worth the sub, but sometimes frustrating. I’ll revise the review if they change it up.

Edit: They started dropping podcasts throughout the day, so I changed my review from 3 stars to 4. If they stop rerunning content from my other Vox subscriptions, I’ll edit again and revise to 5 stars.

Captain Obvious Coverage And Topics

The hosts sound high and the coverage is unhelpful and cluelessly delivered.
