    Loki Helps. Doom Takes.

    Spoilers for the new Avengers: Endgame Encore material. Avengers: Endgame Encore may have just shown us the beginning of two opposing sides for Avengers: Doomsday. Loki appears at Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter’s door immediately after the iconic final dance. Doctor Doom finds an isolated Bruce Banner and tells him, “I’m here to collect you.” Meanwhile, the TVA watches the multiverse begin to fall apart. What if these scenes are connected? In this episode of Marvel Maniac, I break down my theory that Loki may be stepping into a completely new role: deliberately bringing the Avengers together. And there’s a beautiful full-circle element to it—because Loki was the threat that originally caused Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to assemble in the first place. Could Steve Rogers be Loki’s first stop? Why does Doom need Banner? Who could they approach next? And could Doomsday end with the biggest collection of Marvel heroes we’ve ever seen… still losing? This is theory, not a leak.     Avengers: Endgame Encore Reignited My Marvel Mania

    MAJOR SPOILERS for Avengers: Endgame Encore and its new post-credit material begin early in this episode. If you're planning to see Encore unspoiled, come back afterward. Seven years later, Avengers: Endgame still has it. I just got home from Avengers: Endgame Encore, and instead of outlining, theorizing for three days, or trying to make sense of everything first, I hit record. This is the raw Marvel Maniac instant reaction. The movie itself reminded me why I fell in love with this universe in the first place—and then the new material gave us Loki visiting Steve and Peggy, the TVA watching the multiverse collapse, Bruce Banner being confronted by Doctor Doom, and one final ominous tease of what's coming in Avengers: Doomsday.     The Truth About Thanos and Titan

    Thanos told Doctor Strange that Titan ignored his warnings and paid the ultimate price. But Infinity War leaves behind a much bigger mystery: what actually happened to his homeworld? Peter Quill tells us Titan is eight degrees off its axis and its gravitational pull is unstable. The planet itself is a graveyard. And while Thanos explains the crisis that threatened his people—and the horrifying solution they rejected—he never tells us the full story of their downfall. In this episode of Marvel Maniac, Eric digs into the fall of Titan, Thanos’ own version of history, his years of conquest, the unanswered role of Eros, and one big theory: what if Titan wasn’t simply the tragedy that created Thanos?     I got my ticket for Avengers: Endgame Encore — and now I have one major question: what exactly are they changing? Seven years after Endgame first hit theaters, I’m genuinely excited to experience those moments with a Marvel audience again. But with the Russo brothers describing this rerelease as required viewing before Avengers: Doomsday, Marvel has created some pretty big expectations.     Did Anyone Ever Have the REAL Time Stone?

    The Time Stone is mysteriously absent from several pieces of Avengers: Endgame Encore promotional art—and while that could mean absolutely nothing, it sent Marvel Maniac straight to the conspiracy board. What if Doctor Strange never gave Thanos the real Time Stone in Infinity War? What if the Ancient One recognized exactly what Strange had done when Bruce told her he willingly surrendered it—and used the same trick herself? Eric builds a theory around a possible Sorcerer Supreme “surrender protocol,” asks whether the Reality Stone and Thanos' other Infinity Stones could explain what really happened to Vision, and follows the idea all the way through three universe-altering Snaps. Could Thanos, Hulk, and Tony Stark have all used five genuine Infinity Stones and one magical counterfeit? And if nobody ever truly controlled Time, could there be consequences still waiting for us in Avengers: Doomsday? It's absolutely a theory. It could be completely wrong.     Can Avengers: Doomsday Carry the Entire MCU?

    The original Avengers had to prove Marvel’s shared-universe experiment could work. Avengers: Doomsday may have an even harder job: proving that years of movies, Disney+ series, multiverse stories, new heroes, legacy characters, and shifting plans can still feel like one connected MCU. Eric looks back at what made Phase One’s buildup so special, why the Multiverse Saga hasn’t necessarily suffered from too little setup—but from too little convergence—and why meaningful team-ups are still part of Marvel’s secret sauce. Can Doomsday reconnect all of these scattered roads and make the last several years feel like they were building toward something? And could smaller teams like the X-Men, Midnight Suns, Young Avengers, and West Coast Avengers help Marvel rediscover that sense of anticipation after Secret Wars?
