    We have much to go over from pro basketball to more on Tony Romo and CBS drama, plus the WNBA continues to self inflicted issues and what about college football preseason polls?     Kyle Shanahan 49ers Situation Updated + Vindicated Aaron Rodgers Fires Back On ESPN | LWOS Media Daily

    From our latest podcast, we have two NFL media storylines that are still intriguing with training camps getting underway. Host T.J. Rives and Tyler Jones of Roundtable Sports and "The Jones Report" Podcast first discuss the situation with 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan, who is still recovering from his serious traffic accident in Palo Alto, CA, last month. More details have emerged, but Shanahan has yet to comeback to coach the team full time, met with all the media and the cameras and there are still unanaswered questions. Next, in Pittsburgh, controversial QB Aaron Rodgers went on the verbal attack Monday on the live "Pat McAfee Show" from traning camp to basically take a vindicated "victory lap" about his stances on the Covid 19 virus and required shots. He not only taunted embattled health worker Anthony Fauci for having taken the 5th ammendment 100 times at a Senate hearing, but also, took shots at ESPN, the very platform McAfee broadcasts on weekdays. Tyler and T.J. discuss the ramifications for ESPN and how much more motivated is the 42 year old Rodgers to continue this attitude, etc.? The Kyle Shanahan/49ers car crash story is revisited for the Journalim vs. team's controlling what "info insiders" say and when they say it? Aaron Rodgers blasts numerous peopls from Steelers training camp Monday on the Pat McAfee show, including Anthony Fauci and the Covid 19 coverup and lying. We discuss. Then, the WNBA just can't get out of it's own way, as the controversy grows with Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham over her comments about young men not playing in women's sports. At every turn this league does the wrong thing.     Journalism vs. "Insider Info Trading" On Kyle Shanahan Car Crash Story | LWOS Media Podcast

    On the newest edtion of the show, host T.J. Rives returns with a full breakdown of what is Journalism vs. what is going on with "Indsider Info" trading, as it prominently goes on in the biggest sports. First, NFL on CBS lead analyst Tony Romo is detained in Wisconsin on suspicion of DUI. T.J. has more on the coverage and will CBS discipline him, etc.? Then, a much bigger, "hot button" topic is- the car crash in Palo Alto, CA, earlier this month involving San Franscisco 49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan. The local authorites clearly covered up his involvement for over a week and the team tried to shape and control the story. But, after ESPN ultimate insider Adam Schefter reported significant injuries to Shanahan, other media began to dig out all the truth this past weekend and early this week. So, in a fascinating turn, an independent journalist in the San Fransico Bay Area named Grant Cohn started getting more facts. And, his reporting and shows led to he and other reporters getting summoneed for an audience in Shanahan's office Tuesday for him to finally tell his side of what happened. You'll hear more from Cohn in his own words on this twist in the coverage and what it means. Plus, an interesting angle is whether Scheter, Ian Rapoport and others covering the breaking news and info as "insiders" are nothing more than compromised "PR" type- personalities, who are only giving out what teams, players, agents, etc. want the public to know? T.J. has his thoughts and has more from national journalist turned host Jason Whitlock on the Shanahan story/attempted cover up and about Schefter.     World Cup Final Massive Audience + ESPN Firings And Petty Dealings With Outkick.com etc | LWOS Media Podcast

    We're back here in the Summertime with another edition of the show with sports media takes, news, and info on the "LWOS Media Podcast." Host T.J. Rives gives his thoughts on: Amazing World Cup Final won by Spain (in a less than thrilling 1-0 game) over Argentina and was this the last World Cup for Fox Sports, as the deal with FIFA has expired? If so, they did an amazing job covering the drama and there's ratings success to also to tout. Then, he talks the Friday night real time TV coverage by USA Network and Golf Channel of Bryson DeChambeau's "meltdown" over a two stroke penalty at the Open Championship. It was "tremendous TV" and even with a dramatic win on the final hole Sunday by New Zealand's Ryan Fox, DeChambeau overshadowed it all. T.J. has takes. And, then the unfortunate latest rounds of ESPN firings and non-renewals (don't call them layoffs) that took place this week, where anchor/play by play man Karl Ravetch is the biggest name to be ousted after 33 years with the network, but NFL analyst Ryan Clark is the most controversial and polarizing.     MLB All Star Game, World Cup Finishes Up, Wimbledon And More With Awful Announcing's Ken Fang | LWOS Media Podcast

    Lots to go over as the Summer rolls on with the MLB All Star Game Tuesday, the World Cup wrapping up this week and more. And, we're ready to go over iall from a media perspective on the "LWOS Media Podcast!" Host T.J. Rives returns with Ken Fang of Awful Announcing for their takes and insight. They talk the MLB "Home Run Derby" coverage by Netflix for the first time and the reality of streaming services becoming so large. The guys then breakdown Fox Sports/MLB showcasing the All Star Game itself.  That segues into Fox and their coverage of the Soccer World Cup that is finishing up this week. What abou the massive audience and will it continue for the Tuesday and Wednesday weekday ratings without the USA team involved? Also, what about the different broadcasters on the coverage and will Fox hang on to the coverage with their deal expiriing? The guys have takes on ESPN/ABC's coverage of Wimbledon tennis (a hint- Ken's not a fan), plus a salute to an NBA announcer saying goodbye after 37 years of calling every season of his team's existence.
