Prayer - Honest Prayers - Molly Ratliff

“Trust in Him at all times, you people, pour out your heart before Him, God is a refuge for us.” Psalms 62:8 “in every situation by prayer let your requests be known to God.” Phil 4:6 The reality is every meaningful relationship requires us to learn four things: how to be together (wk. 1), how to talk honestly (wk 2), how to trust deeply (wk 3), and how to work toward the same purpose (wk 4).  HONEST PRAYERS Honest: telling the truth; things that are real, genuine, sincere, open and frank about real thoughts or feelings. “Do not imagine that the Lord looks down with any pleasure upon the tens of thousands of forms of prayer…. which are presented to him without heart: such forms rather weary him than worship him… The God of truth can never accept an untruthful devotion…Alas many of our fellow men never pray; and many who think they pray are yet strangers to that sacred exercise. Perhaps you deny that you are thus guilty, for you have always said a prayer, and would not have gone to sleep at night if you had not done so, that I pray you, remember that you may have repeated holy words….and yet may have never prayed a prayer with your heart.”- Charles Spurgeon Honest prayers are prayers given to God by who you actually are. 1) the ritual of prayer > the relationship of prayer 2) we don’t fully trust we can be honest “To pretend to be other than we are before God is a hideous madness”- Charles Spurgeon The real sin, the real hypocrisy, is limiting our prayers but pretending God is getting our full heart.  | honest pray-ers | Honest prayers | Scripture ref.  | David | Vindication; forgiveness; praise | Ps 109:1-2,4,7-13; Ps 51; Ps 28 | Elijah | Overwhelmed and depressed | 1 Kings 19:4 | Jonah | Questioned God’s way | Jonah 4:1-3 | Father | Faith and doubt | Mark 9 | Jesus | Soul exceedingly sorrowful | Matthew 26:38-39 | Joshua | Bold request | Joshua 10:12 “1 Do not keep silent, O God of my praise!2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful have opened against me…4 But I give myself to prayer…” Psalms 109:1-2, 4 “7 Let his (the accuser) prayer become sin.8 Let his days be few and let another take his office. 9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow. 10 Let his children continually be vagabonds, and beg…13 in the generation to come let their name be blotted out.” Psalms 109:7-13 “Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.” Psalms 62:8 Honest prayers are prayers poured out Honest poured out prayers invite God to be a part of all of our life. He becomes the actual God of our life as we are honest and entrust our life to him 1) ritual>relationship2) we don’t fully trust we can be honest 1)prayers of relationship (intimacy) 2)expressions of faith Honest prayer is “God, here’s what I’m experiencing. Here’s what I want. Here’s what I’m afraid of. Here’s what I don’t understand. And I’m bringing it all to you.”- Sinclair Ferguson We serve a God who is not so small that he cannot handle the reality of who we are. He longs for relationship with us which includes being given access to our real prayers- whether they’re prayers of praise and happiness and prayers where we are dreaming and asking for bold things to the prayers of our deepest pains and questions and doubts.

Prayer - Learning To Be - Jackson Wilson

19 When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” They said to him, “Twelve.” 20 “And the seven for the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” And they said to him, “Seven.” 21 And he said to them, “Do you not yet understand?” Mark 8:19-21 1.) The Reason (The stakes are too low). We live in a world that requires us to learn the language of prayer because we live in God’s world. 16 For by[f] him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.  Colossians 1:16-17 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.  John 15:4-5 2.) The Pathway (The knowledge doesn’t translate to life) But if I try to set forth something of the reasonableness of all prayer, I beg my readers to remember that it is for the sake of action and not speculation; if prayer be anything at all, it is a thing to be done: what matter whether you agree with me or not, if you do not pray? George MacDonald Prayer is less a thing to understand, and more a thing to be done. 3.) Immersion (High stakes, totally practical) Immersion: foreign language instruction in which only the language being taught is used 15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” Romans 8:15 26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.  Romans 8:26 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 There is a reality of being in which all things are easy and plain—oneness, that is, with the Lord of Life; to pray for this is the first thing; and to the point of this prayer every difficulty hedges and directs us.  George MacDonald LEARN HOW TO “BE” THROUGH PRAYER “The first purpose of prayer isn’t getting what we need from God—it’s learning to live with God.” 14 Now they had forgotten to bring bread, and they had only one loaf with them in the boat. 15 And he cautioned them, saying, “Watch out; beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.” 16 And they began discussing with one another the fact that they had no bread. 17 And Jesus, aware of this, said to them, “Why are you discussing the fact that you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive or understand? Are your hearts hardened? 18 Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear? And do you not remember? 19 When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” They said to him, “Twelve.” 20 “And the seven for the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” And they said to him, “Seven.” 21 And he said to them, “Do you not yet understand?” Mark 8:14-21 We learn to COMMUNE before we learn to COMMUNICATE  “God is with me” 16 And they began discussing with one another the fact that they had no bread. 17 And Jesus, aware of this, said to them, “Why are you discussing the fact that you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive or understand? Are your hearts hardened? 18 Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear? And do you not remember? 19 When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” They said to him, “Twelve.” 20 “And the seven for the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” And they said to him, “Seven.” 21 And he said to them, “Do you not yet understand?” Mark 8:16-21 The paltry solitariness of a loaf was enough to hide the Lord from them, to make them unable to understand. George MacDonald We learn to RECEIVE before we learn to REQUEST  In those days, when again a great crowd had gathered, and they had nothing to eat, he called his disciples to him and said to them, 2 “I have compassion on the crowd, because they have been with me now three days and have nothing to eat.” Mark 8:1-2 “God sees my need before I see my need.” We learn to LIVE before we learn to UNDERSTAND 19 When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” They said to him, “Twelve.” 20 “And the seven for the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” And they said to him, “Seven.” 21 And he said to them, “Do you not yet understand?” Mark 8:16-21 “I learn to live with Him, not how to understand Him.”

MARANATHA '26 - The Life Of Wonder - Jackson Wilson

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!” Isaiah 6:3 "Earth's crammed with heaven, And every common bush afire with God; But only he who sees takes off his shoes— The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries." Elizabeth Barrett Browining “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. Hebrews 11:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:3 O Lord, how manifold are your works!     In wisdom have you made them all;     the earth is full of your creatures. Here is the sea, great and wide,     which teems with creatures innumerable,     living things both small and great. Psalm 104:24-25 Colorado Picture* Fish Picture* GOD IS NOT HIDING HIMSELF FROM YOU. THE LIFE OF WONDER Wonder: a feeling of awe or astonishment. 2 Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!” Isaiah 6:2-3 Wonder is for the CHILDREN of God. At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2 And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them 3 and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:1-4 God is better than you think. 25 Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. John 21:25 THE BARRIER TO WONDER 24 Now Thomas, one of the twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them, “Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into his side, I will never believe.” John 20:24-25 The barrier to wonder is a heart that cannot see beyond physical sight We are and remain such creeping Christians, because we look at ourselves and not at Christ; because we gaze at the marks of our own soiled feet, and the trail of our own defiled garments, instead of up at the snows of purity, whither the should of Christ is climbed. George Macdonald 26 Eight days later, his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” John 20:26-27 THE BRIDGE TO WONDER The Bridge to Wonder is the eyes the heart being opened to see Jesus rightly. It is not His will that one of His little ones should perish and, therefore, He chases away unbelief, which is their deadliest foe. The Good Shepherd will leave the 99 to seek the one wanderer! If Thomas is the most unbelieving, Thomas shall have the most care! He is only one, but yet he is one, and the Lord Jesus will not lose one whom He has ordained to save! Charles Spurgeon 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” John 20:27 THE RESPONSE TO WONDER 28 Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”  John 20:28 It had flashed upon the mind of Thomas that this august Person whom he had regarded as the Messiah was also God. He saw that the Man at whose feet he had sat was more than man and was assuredly God, and this amazed him so that he used broken speech. He does not say, “You are my Lord and my God,” as a man would say who is making a doctrinal statement, but he brings it out in fragments. He makes adoration of it. Charles Spurgeon 27 To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27

MARANATHA '26 - The Death Of Lack - Luke Morris

26 The mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord’s people. 27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:26-27     Teaching Text: 2 Cor 3:12-18, 12 Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. 13 We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away. 14 But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. 15 Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. 16 But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate[a] the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.     O God, O God, The plan which You had from the beginning, regarding Your Kimyals, which already existed in Your Spirit. The month that You had set, the day that You had set, has come to pass today. O my Father, my Father, the promise that You gave Simeon that he would see Jesus Christ and hold Him in his arms before he died. I also have been waiting under that same promise, O God. You looked at all the different languages and chose which ones will be put into Your Word. You thought that we should see Your Word in our language. Today, the day You had chosen for this to be fulfilled, has come to pass. O God, today You have placed Your Word into my hands, just like You promised. You have placed it here in our land. And for all this, O God, I give You praise. The truth is… Christ... IN. YOU. Not over there. Not one day. Not after you get your life together. Christ in you. The hope of glory. This is where striving begins to die.       Christianity doesn't begin with obtaining more of Christ. It begins by discovering that He has already given Himself to you completely.   2 Cor 3:12-18, 12 Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. 18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.     "The gospel is the declaration that Jesus Christ has come to do for us what we could never do for ourselves." — Tim Keller.     Revelation 3:20,”20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.”   To my hurt. (Sin & Pain) To my longing. (Searching for Purpose)   Matthew 6:19-21,”19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.     To my soul. (Desire for Perfect Love)   1 Corinthians 13:4-7, ”Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” - He holds our soul perfectly and fulfills our desire for soul care truly.      Genesis 1:1-5,”1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.”       Hebrews 4:12-16,”12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account. 14 Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”     2 Cor 3:17,” Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”     Hebrews 11:1, Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”       John 10:9-11,”9 I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”

MARANATHA '26 - The Death Of Fear - Molly Ratliff

“1 In the year King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above it stood seraphim…3 And one cried to another and said: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!” Isaiah 6:1-3.  See The Death of Fear “1 In the year King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above it stood seraphim…3 And one cried to another and said: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!” Isaiah 6:1-3. “11 the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.” 1 Kings 8:11 Night 1: we want to “See the King” Night 2: we want to “Receive the King” Night 3: we want to “Live in the King/into the life of wonder” See the death of fear, when we see our glorious King “1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord…” Isaiah 6:1 1) Who is King Uzziah and why does it matter he is dead? “15 His fame spread far and wide, for he was marvelously helped (by God) til he became strong.” 2 Chronicles 26:15. “16 But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction.” 2 Chronicles 26:16 The backdrop of one of the most insightful accounts of the glory and majesty of God is the death of this failed King. 2) Who is Isaiah? A prophet is a set aside person God uses to warn, encourage, reveal God’s will to others 3) Who is the Lord? “1 I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of his robe filled the temple…3 Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!” Isaiah 6:1-3 A King’s robe symbolizes: - Authority (the person wearing, has the right to rule) - Identity (the person themselves, is the ruler) - Status (the longer the robe the greater the honor) -Office (when the King wears a robe, he represents the Kingdom itself) Fear is our natural response to a perceived threat Fear can include anxiety, dread, or terror and is experienced in our thoughts, emotions, and actions Fear #1: The year Uzziah died Fear #2: The glorious King “4 The posts of the door were shaken by the voice of one who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 So I (Isaiah) said, ‘Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.” Isaiah 6:4-5 Yir’ah: profound respect Where fear of the world is a threat to us, the fear of the Lord is the attitude of someone who recognizes God’s holiness, power, and authority. Fear is the response of the heart to what it believes has the greatest power and worth “This vision of the throne of God did not immediately make Isaiah feel good. The more clearly he saw the LORD, the more clearly he saw how bad his state was.”- David Guzik “6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me having in his hand a live coal…7 He touched my mouth with it and said, ‘your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.’” Isaiah 6:6-7. The answer to fear is vision. We can see death to fear when we see the King! “17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, ‘Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one.” Revelation 1:17-18

Impossible Christianity - Don't Lose The Plot - Luke Morris

Colossians 2:6-8,”6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. 8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.” False: “As a Christian, I need to make sure I uphold my faith by only doing the Jesus things.” The gospel is not an invitation to perform for Christ; it is an invitation to abide in Him. "The church is always in danger of worshiping its own work instead of worshiping God." — Henri Nouwen Hosea 6:6 "I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings." John 15:15,”15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.” John 15:16-17,”16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. 17 These things I command you, so that you will love one another.” "Christianity becomes impossible the moment we believe it's our job to keep ourselves close to Jesus." Many times we turn the things we do for God into the relationship we have with Him.  "The greatest hindrance to true religion has always been that it was trusted in instead of God." — A. W. Tozer Jesus never said, "Produce fruit so you can stay connected." He said, "Stay connected, and fruit will come." Avoid Insecure Actions.Colossians 2:9-10,”9 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10 and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.” Nearness matters more than sacrifices."The time of business does not with me differ from the time of prayer; and in the noise and clatter of my kitchen... I possess God in as great tranquility as if I were upon my knees at the blessed sacrament." – Brother Lawrence Colossians 2:16-20,”16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. 17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. 18 Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. 19 They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow. 20 Since you died with Christ to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules:” Fruit will come – but it will always be Him. Colossians 3:3,” For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.”

Impossible Christianity - Holiness Without Misery - Molly Ratliff

“For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.” 1 John 5:3 The lie- A Christian life of holiness is burdensome and boring The truth- A Christian life of holiness is what we were made for and its good! True holiness is living our life as God, our creator, intended. Holiness is our set apart design. This design is what we were made for, and it is good! Holy: to be set apart, consecrated, dedicated Holiness: the state of being set apart for God “2 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’s seat.3 But don’t do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. 4 They tie up heavy, burdensome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.” Matthew 23:2-4 “28 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest….30 My yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28,30 A Christian life of holiness simply means we have been set apart by God for his purposes “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation.” 1 Peter 2:9 “27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God, He created him male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:27-28 We were created for holiness because we have been set apart from all other creations. Holiness is not a burden of our Christianity. Holiness is the freedom to become what God created us to be. Holiness is the environment we were created to thrive in. It is the pathway to truly live. “ I have come that you have life and life abundantly” John 10:10. “In your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Psalms 16:11 “My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.” John 15:11 “8 The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there he put man who he had formed.9 And…the Lord God made every tree grow that was pleasant…and good…” Genesis 2:8-9 “God’s holiness is essential to his nature and fundamental to His being. His holiness is what makes him good, and loving, and kind, and faithful. Without holiness, God wouldn’t be beautiful, and so because of it, He is eternally attractive. Think about the opposite of it being present in Him and you may see my point. If He were sovereign, but wicked, with no inner righteousness to restrain His hand, I wouldn’t be surprised if the world was no more. If He had all power without love, our refusal to love Him back would result in cosmic abuse or maybe a million more floods with no rainbow to promise His relent. If He were an unholy God, what would salvation even mean? What is deliverance to a self-centered “savior”? Thankfully, our God is incomprehensibly holy and therefore completely beautiful in all of His ways and works. This is why we are invited to worship Him as such, and in so doing, we become just as beautiful as He is. Holiness is not an aspect of God; holy is who He is through and through” – Jackie Hill Perry “The veiling of his glory was the real marvel. The Divine restraint which prohibited the illumination of his sacred humanity.”- Joseph S. Excel “When God decides to make something, He does it not to fill a void but to give opportunity for all that He is to be known by another.” – Jackie Hill Perry “He who called you is holy, you also be holy…” 1 Peter 1:15 We experience the Christian life of holiness as boring and burdensome, when we think we can be holy apart from God. “24 Put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.” Ephesians 4:24 “ We all, with an unveiled face (this is the gospel: the veil was torn at the cross), beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord (his image in us) are being transformed into the same image (holiness) from glory to glory just as by the Spirit of the Lord (not apart from God).”  2 Corinthians 3:18 We were created for a life of holiness that is good, by beholding His holiness! “We have come to behold the beauty of his holiness, and by beholding it, we became as lovely as He is.” – Jackie Hill Perry
