Understand the significance of promoting awareness and inclusivity for people with disabilities within the world of sports, travel and society at large. He has worked with grassroots to Paralympic athletes coaching and setting them up for success on and off the slopes. Mark discusses the travel obstacles para-alpine athletes face including accessibility concerns, accommodation considerations and the importance of understanding what accessible travel really means. He also shares with us how he found unique opportunities that allowed him to see the world while working. Whether you're an avid sports enthusiast, adventurer, or just seeking inspiration, this episode will leave you feeling uplifted and ready to explore the world beyond limits. Since I have mentioned Hawaii on the podcast, I wanted to acknowledge those who have been impacted by the recent fires in Maui. This episode was recorded prior to the devastation that has occurred. I am heartbroken by the news and encourage people to support however they can whether that be by donating to causes supporting those who have been impacted or by continuing to learn how to protect the places or communities we travel to.
