Following an embarrassing 13-10 loss to Northeastern on Monday, March 2, the Tigers have now dropped two games in a week, including a midweek loss to McNeese State. Despite a late-game rally where the Tigers scored eight runs in the final three innings, the defensive and pitching collapses early in the game proved insurmountable. Key Issues Against Northeastern The loss was marked by a complete breakdown in the early innings, as Northeastern built a 10-0 lead by the third inning. Pitching Struggles: Starter Cooper Williams (0-1) and reliever Zac Cowan struggled significantly, combined allowing eight hits and five earned runs in just 2.2 innings.
