In our best effort to #stoptheripple we created this Podcast so our collective voice can be heard. We are "The Living" to addiction. We are the widows to addiction. We are the soldiers left standing in the battlefield of addiction. We have suffered the ultimate blow of addiction. When a love one dies from the abuse of alcohol and/or drugs we are left with what can only be described as a "lost at sea" feeling, trying to make sense of life through PTSD, grief and loss. Creating a space where others can come to remember they are not alone and do our best to stop the ripple of addiction.

    Why Podcast your Widowhood?

    I want to turn it in to Widowship, share it with woman who understand what it means fell lost at sea, missing someone who didn't or couldn't fight for themselves any longer.  There is a lot of pain and anger and a plethera of emotions that I feel like screaming from a mountain top but I will use this Podcast instead as I am not close to any mountains.

    Welcome to my widow's journey through addiction... #stoptheripple

    This is the first of many on my road to getting my own smile back.  Being a widow for 13 months now and having my husband taken by alcohol addiction has been the roughest road travelled and I am not alone.  There are people all over the US who suffer the same hurt, agony and feeling of loss while trying to hold ourselves, families, bills, jobs and life together, in a Pandemic no less. Here is where I tell my story and create a space to stop the ripple of what addiction has done to my family.
