    Amanda Philpott, CEO & Co-Founder of Eargym

    Calm/Storm Ventures launched a new podcast series for female co-founders and everyone interested in super early-stage startup fundraising. The 6th episode is featuring Amanda Philpott, CEO and Co-Founder of Eargym - a digital solution for hearing loss treatment, connecting science with cutting-edge technology to improve the prevention of avoidable problems of hearing loss. The solution enables to train hearing in a whole new way that is convenient and fun for the end-user. Amanda started her entrepreneurial journey after a long senior management career at NHS, most recently as a CEO of Clinical Commissioning Groups. Together with her Co-Founder, they completed 9 months programme at Zinc. Our hosts for this episode are Monika Warezak from Calm/Storm Ventures and Chenelle Ansah, Partner at Cornerstone Partners - a British angel investor syndicate and a VC firm focused on investing in businesses owned and run by black and diverse founders.  Chenelle and Monika will interview Amanda and discuss the investment opportunity.     Lucia Payo Molina, CTO & co-founder: Exakt Health

This 5th episode is featuring a female CTO who is building a tool for diagnosing and treating sport injuries. The founder pitching is Lucia Payo Molina, the CTO of Exakt Health - an app initially intended for runners to help them self-diagnose common injuries. Following the clinically-validated diagnosis, Exakt Health will suggest a treatment plan that will help with faster recovery and minimising the risk of re-injury. Lucia is an experienced mobile engineer, who has met her co-founder at the neo consumer bank N26. Our co-host for this episode is Eva Arh who is a Principal at Vienna-based VC, 3VC. Eva's investment focus lies in enterprise business, infrastructure and health tech. Prior to joining 3VC, Eva worked with the INiTS High Tech Incubator in Austria, helping incubate startups there. Her background in tech and unique understanding of sexual trauma are the foundation for Leda's vision of meeting every sexual assault survivor with empathy and care. We also welcome our co-host Bérénice Magistretti: a writer, a startup advisor and an angel investor. She writes about women in tech in magazines like Forbes and Vanity Fair London, and recently started investing in female co-founded startups. Her investments include HANXofficial.com, a sexual wellness brand, TOPKNOT.App, a coaching platform for women, and LAGATTA.com an active wear brand for women over 40.
