IRSC: February 2021 with Suzanne Evans

The  Iridescent Robot's second podcast is out! February 2021 is a  showcase of personal true stories about FOOD, with storytellers: Ade Ajayi, Stephen Beaumont, Adrian Cheater, Heather Paul, b!WILDer, Michael Lockhart and Renee Marchol. Plus a wonderful guest appearance by the author of the wondrous literary biography of Ethel Mulvany, The Taste of Longing, Suzanne Evans. Suzanne reads the prologue of the book, and we have a conversation about why she spent ten years chronicling the life of this phenomenal woman, who survived the starvation of being a prisoner of war during WWII as the only Canadian in Changi Jail, Singapore. You can check out Suzanne Evan's book at https://btlbooks.com/ This Storytelling Club is hosted by your very own Iridescent Robot  themself, Danielle K.L. Gregoire. If you'd like to tell a story at next  month's virtual show, on March 26th, the theme is SPRING, and the  stories are to be of hope, resilience and/or hilarity, send us an email  at curiousandkindalmonte@gmail.com.
