Barabbas : The value of mankind

Deuteronomy 30:19 AMP I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse; therefore, you shall choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants, This was no coincidence, but instead pre-meditated by God the Father. To use the worst to bring out salvation for His creation, while demonstrating His love and value for men.  Matthew 27:15-26 NKJV Now at the feast the governor was accustomed to releasing to the multitude one prisoner whom they wished. [16] And at that time they had a notorious prisoner called Barabbas. [17] Therefore, when they had gathered together, Pilate said to them, "Whom do you want me to release to you? Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?" [18] For he knew that they had handed Him over because of envy. [19] While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, "Have nothing to do with that just Man, for I have suffered many things today in a dream because of Him." [20] But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitudes that they should ask for Barabbas and destroy Jesus. [21] The governor answered and said to them, "Which of the two do you want me to release to you?" They said, "Barabbas!" [22] Pilate said to them, "What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?" They all said to him, "Let Him be crucified!" [23] Then the governor said, "Why, what evil has He done?" But they cried out all the more, saying, "Let Him be crucified!" [24] When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, "I am innocent of the blood of this just Person. You see to it." [25] And all the people answered and said, "His blood be on us and on our children." [26] Then he released Barabbas to them; and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be crucified. Barabbas was a Jewish rebel, murderer, and bandit (thief, robber, gang member).Notorious - famous or well-known for something bad, negative, or harmful. It describes people, places, or things that have a bad reputation. Christ took the place of a notorious prisoner, to redeem mankind. What happened to Barabbas explains why salvation is not found through works, but instead through the grace of God. Your value is not affected by; Past, baggage, behavior/actions, imperfections, struggles/weaknesses, failures, disappointments, negativities, etc… Jeremiah 29:10-11 NKJV For thus says the LORD: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place. [11] For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. The scripture shows us that in God’s view there is no evil, malice, harm, or intention to harm His children.

    Everyone has a role

Everyone has a role 1 John 5:14-15 NKJV Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. [15] And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. Prayer : Dear God, I declare today that my confidence in you is restored in the name of Jesus Christ.  Matthew 27:57-61 NKJV Now when evening had come, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who himself had also become a disciple of Jesus. [58] This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be given to him. [59] When Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, [60] and laid it in his new tomb which he had hewn out of the rock; and he rolled a large stone against the door of the tomb, and departed. [61] And Mary Magdalene was there, and the other Mary, sitting opposite the tomb. We sometimes fight against each other because our expectations are misplaced. Understand that there is enough room for others to also play their part in the things of God. John 12:1-8 NKJV Then, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was who had been dead, whom He had raised from the dead. [2] There they made Him a supper; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those who sat at the table with Him. [3] Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil. [4] But one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, who would betray Him, said, [5] "Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?" [6] This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it. [7] But Jesus said, "Let her alone; she has kept this for the day of My burial. [8] For the poor you have with you always, but Me you do not have always." Even Moses understood the essence of helpExodus 17:8-13 NKJV Now Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim. [9] And Moses said to Joshua, "Choose us some men and go out, fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand." [10] So Joshua did as Moses said to him, and fought with Amalek. And Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. [11] And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. [12] But Moses' hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. [13] So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword. Pride (arrogant sense of superiority)can hinder development, learning, growth, breakthrough, success, and achievements. Be humble and willing to listen, learn, receive corrections, ask for help, and be content with little as you begin. Family matters part 2 - Intruders

Sunday 18 July 2026 - Family maters Part 2 - Intruders * Intruder * Someone who enters a building, area, or private space without permission or authorization. * The word typically implies that the presence is unwelcome, often carrying a connotation of danger, a threat to privacy, or criminal intent (like theft) Matthew 22:1-14 NKJV And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said: [2] "The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, [3] and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come. [4] Again, he sent out other servants, saying, 'Tell those who are invited, "See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding."' [5] But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business. [6] And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them. [7] But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. [8] Then he said to his servants, 'The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. [9] Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.' [10] So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests. [11] "But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. [12] So he said to him, 'Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?' And he was speechless. [13] Then the king said to the servants, 'Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' [14] "For many are called, but few are chosen." * The enemy has and continues to plant intruders all around us. It feels like there are booby traps or land mines everywhere we step. * A booby trap is a concealed or disguised device designed to kill, injure, or surprise a person or animal - Sickness, Bitterness (unforgiving), Anger (short tempered), Jealousy, Envy (competition), Hate, Poverty, Low self esteem, Doubt, failure, anxiety, worry, intimidation, paranoia, instability, unsettled, untrustworthy, uncommitted, unreliable, no respect, lazy, liars, lust, one with sin (accepting of it), etc… Hebrews 4:12 Matthew 13:24-26 NKJV Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; [25] but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. [26] But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. * As we go out, spread the word about the door keeper, Jesus Christ John 10:1-3 NKJV "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. [2] But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. [3] To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. Family Matters

Sunday 4 July 2026 - Family matters  Matthew 21:21 NKJV So Jesus answered and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' it will be done. Private or important issues, events, or legal proceedings concerning one’s relativesLife is about relationships. Relative, friendship, marriage, partnership, ministry, neigbour, colleague, etc. This message is focused on kingdom family matters (God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, Angels, prayer, worship, praise, faith, grace, favor, healing, deliverance, miracles, signs, wonders, etc).Romans 8:15-17 NLT So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God's Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, "Abba, Father." [16] For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God's children. [17] And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God's glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering. Abba - deep personal closeness, affection, trust, and family intimacy. Father - general, authority, parenthood, protection, and relationship. Christ speaking to disciples about knowing matters of the family. John 15:15 NKJV No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. Healing, favor, joy, peace, patience, love, victory, protection, grace, authority, power, miracles, signs, wonders, etc…Matthew 13:10-11 NIV The disciples came to him and asked, “Why do you speak to the people in parables?” [11] He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. In life there is public information which is accessible to all people. Then there is  information which only those  who belong to the family of Jesus Christ have access to. Genesis 18:16-21 NKJV Then the men rose from there and looked toward Sodom, and Abraham went with them to send them on the way. [17] And the LORD said, "Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing, [18] since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? [19] For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the LORD, to do righteousness and justice, that the LORD may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him." [20] And the LORD said, "Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, [21] I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know." Breaking news

Breaking news  Headlines / Attention / noticed / People start to debate/ shock and/or surprise /All creation / Abram to Abraham / Sarah / Jacob to Israel / Elijah / Crossing of Red Sea / Mary & Elizabeth / Christs Concepcion and birth / day of Pentecost Luke 1:36-37 NKJV Now indeed (without question / undoubtedly / most assuredly), Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. [37] For with God nothing will be impossible." Public knowledge of an issue results in breaking news after a miracle takes place. Your miracle will be breaking newsJohn 5:1-15 NKJV After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. [2] Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. [3] In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. [4] For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had. [5] Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. [6] When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, "Do you want to be made well?" [7] The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me." [8] Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk." [9] And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath. [10] The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, "It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed." [11] He answered them, "He who made me well said to me, 'Take up your bed and walk.'" [12] Then they asked him, "Who is the Man who said to you, 'Take up your bed and walk'?" [13] But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. [14] Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, "See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you." [15] The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. With love, Pastor Tadala
