Marriage is something that takes work! For decades we have not lived up to our part of the marriage, and our marriages have been failing. We don't totally understand why, but the cast of "My Wife Still Likes Me" takes a lite but serious approach to life, love, dating, parenting, relationships, and everything that could go wrong along the way. We are ANTI Failed Marriage, and we want to do our part to help your marriage grow into a fun, devoted, and unified relationship.

Trust with im fine and do whatever you want.

Have you ever found yourself thinking: "I would've helped if I knew." "I would've done something if you'd told me." "I didn't know it mattered that much." And then your spouse responds: "I literally asked you." Ouch. The truth is, sometimes the biggest communication problem in marriage isn't that our spouse isn't talking. It's that we're not really listening. In this episode of My Wife Still Likes Me, we're talking about two simple phrases that every spouse should pay attention to: "Can you please..." and "I need you to..." We'll discuss:• Why healthy marriages aren't built on mind reading• The difference between hearing words and truly listening• What your spouse may be communicating beneath a simple request• How ignored requests can slowly create resentment• Practical ways to become a better listener and teammate Because when your spouse says, "Can you please..." they may be asking for more than help with a task. And when they say, "I need you to..." they may be sharing a deeper emotional need. The request may sound practical. But the message underneath is often relational. Healthy marriages learn to hear both. Discussion Question: What's one request your spouse makes that helps them feel loved? And what's one thing you've learned about listening in your marriage? Helping couples change the narrative of marriage through intentional conversations, practical tools, and real-life experiences. Thank you for listening to My Wife Still Likes Me. When you have a partner you can trust. I’m fine and do what ever you want are never a concern.

Have you ever heard your spouse say, "I'm fine," and immediately started trying to solve a mystery? Was that a real fine? An angry fine? A disappointed fine? A "we'll talk about this later" fine? And what about the legendary phrase: "Do whatever you want." Is that freedom... or a trap? In this episode of My Wife Still Likes Me, we're talking about one of the most important ingredients in a healthy marriage: trust. Not the dramatic trust that gets talked about in movies. The everyday trust that allows two people to believe each other's words, communicate honestly, and stop spending so much time trying to decode hidden messages. We'll discuss:• Why trust is built in ordinary conversations• How low trust turns communication into detective work• Why couples sometimes say what feels safest instead of what they mean• How to create a marriage where honesty feels safe• Practical ways to build trust one conversation at a time Because healthy marriages aren't built on mind reading. They're built on honesty, safety, and trust. And when trust is strong, "I'm fine" actually means "I'm fine." Discussion Question: What's a phrase in marriage that can mean two completely different things depending on how it's said? And what's one thing that's helped build trust in your relationship? Helping couples change the narrative of marriage through intentional conversations, practical tools, and real-life experiences. Thank you for listening to My Wife Still Likes Me. The Number System That Changed Our Marriage

How many awkward conversations, hurt feelings, and misunderstandings happen because one spouse thinks the other is interested... and they're not? Or because one spouse is interested... and the other has absolutely no idea? For years, couples have been trying to solve this mystery by dropping hints, reading body language, and hoping their spouse picks up the signals. A few years ago, we stumbled onto something that completely changed the way we communicate. It's simple. It's funny. It's slightly ridiculous. And it has worked incredibly well for us. In this episode of My Wife Still Likes Me, we're sharing the "Number System" that transformed communication in our marriage and helped eliminate a lot of unnecessary guessing, assumptions, and misunderstandings. We'll discuss:• How the Number System works• Why communication matters more than mind reading• How uncertainty creates tension in marriage• The connection between stress, exhaustion, and intimacy• How to create communication tools that fit your own relationship This episode isn't really about intimacy. It's about communication. It's about clarity. And it's about finding simple ways to understand your spouse better. Because healthy marriages aren't built on mind reading. They're built on communication. Discussion Question:What's one communication tool that has helped your marriage? And have you ever discovered a simple solution that solved a much bigger problem? Helping couples change the narrative of marriage through intentional conversations, practical tools, and real-life experiences. Thank you for listening to My Wife Still Likes Me. When Your Spouse Has Nothing Left to Give

Have you ever felt like your spouse was pulling away? Short answers. Little energy. No enthusiasm. No affection. No engagement. It's easy to assume something is wrong with your marriage—or something is wrong with them. But what if the issue isn't a lack of love? What if they're simply exhausted? In this episode of My Wife Still Likes Me, we're talking about what it means to be a supportive spouse when your husband or wife feels like they have nothing left in the tank. We'll discuss:• Why exhaustion often gets mistaken for rejection• How assumptions create distance in marriage• The difference between fixing and supporting• Practical ways to help an overwhelmed spouse• Why healthy marriages aren't always 50/50 Because every marriage experiences seasons when one spouse is carrying more than they can handle. The question isn't whether those seasons will come. The question is how we'll respond when they do. Discussion Question:When you're overwhelmed, what makes you feel most supported by your spouse? And what's one way you've learned to be a better teammate in your marriage? What to Do When You Don’t Have 100% to Give in Marriage

This week’s episode looks a little different. It’s just me—sharing a raw conversation about what happens when you don’t have 100% to give in marriage. We’ve talked before about how marriage isn’t 50/50—it’s 100/100. But the truth is, some weeks we don’t have 100. Sometimes not even close. So what do you do when both of you are running low and the math just doesn’t add up? In this episode, I talk about: The reality of “less than 100%” weeks. Why presence matters more than perfection. The Uncommon Question: What do you do when you feel like you’re not enough for your spouse? Practical ways to extend grace and still stay connected. If you’re in a season where you’re not at your best, this is your reminder—you’re not failing. You’re human. And your marriage doesn’t need 100% to thrive; it needs presence, grace, and love. Fundamentals of Marriage, Part 4: Never Give Up

Every marriage faces challenges—some small, some overwhelming. In those moments, it can feel easier to walk away. But one of the most powerful fundamentals of a lasting marriage is the decision to never give up. In this episode, we’ll talk about: What “never giving up” in marriage really means. Why perseverance builds trust, safety, and resilience. When it’s right to keep fighting—and when it’s not safe to stay. Practical ways couples can keep showing up, even when it’s hard. We’ll also pull a fun question from our Uncommon Question Box—because laughter and lightness are part of what keeps couples strong, too. 👉 What’s one way you’ve worked through a tough season in your marriage instead of giving up?
