    PREMIERE: RARÓG - Drone Buzz [Antimodus Records]

    RARÓG hails from Gorzów Wielkopolski, an industrial city in western Poland that has influenced his raw, uncompromising DIY sound. He has also been drawn to darkness in music, and that manifests in the material he releases as he blends Techno, ambient, IDM, drone, EBM and metal into arresting, filmic soundscapes on labels like this one, ANTIMODUS and [R]3volution Uncod3d. Singular shadowy intensity and unrelenting depth define his latest outing once more. Evocative opener 'Dark Sun' has a rolling techno rhythm that is detailed with caustic texture, wiry electronics and a sense of post-human dystopia. It's a wall of sound for heads-down dancing, and then 'Elephant In The Room' kicks like its namesake with earth-shattering weight. Intense, stormy synths and oversized hi-hats heighten the intensity and ensure maximum destruction on the dancefloor. The fantastically freaky 'World Turtle' layers up filthy layers of rusty metal, distorted bass and ice-cold synths into a descent into a sordid underworld and 'Drone Buzz' keeps the intensity going this time with more jostling broken beats and a backlit glow of industrial noise that consumes everything in its wake.     Amplify Series 147 - Burden

    Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @burden-6 for the 147th installment of Amplify Series. Burden is a London based DJ and producer originally from Italy, steadily carving his space within the International techno landscape. With a sound rooted in groove-heavy tension and hypnotic rhythms, his sets and productions navigate the deeper, more meditative end of the sonic spectrum, where tribal textures and shadowy atmospheres collide. Known for a refined yet driving style, Burden has released music on respected labels such as KSR, Planet Rhythm, BCCO and Truncate, earning support from artists and dancefloors across the continent. His tracks carry a consistent sense of depth and focus, reflecting both his background as a sound engineer and his commitment to the craft. As a DJ, he’s played across some of Europe’s key underground institutions, including Tresor, Fabric, and Fold, with his sets emphasizing subtle progression and raw, physical energy. He’s also the Co-founder of Bloom LDN, a London-based party and record label that has hosted acts like Claudio PRC, Kaiser, Deluka and Sandrien, establishing itself as a platform for forward-thinking techno in the UK capital. Burden continues to push his sound with clarity and purpose, shaping a presence that resonates both in the booth and beyond.     Experimental introspective techno arrives September 24 on Ethnic Meeting. SEVILLA — Ethnic Meeting Label announces SEQUENCES, a nine-track LP from Spanish techno producer K.MARTIN. The album explores experimental and introspective territory through a purist lens, building nine distinct sonic sequences that prioritize depth and restraint over immediate impact. SEQUENCES comprises nine original compositions: SEQ 001 through SEQ 009. Each track functions as a sequence within a larger narrative — a study in texture, momentum, and minimalist techno design. The work reflects K.MARTIN's approach to production where less is architecture. "These are sequences, not tracks," K.MARTIN explains. "Nine spaces to inhabit. The purity comes from what you remove, not what you add." The album marks K.MARTIN's third release with Ethnic Meeting, continuing a collaboration rooted in the label's commitment to uncompromising underground techno.     PREMIERE: Truant J - Just Stay With It [Skryptöm Records]

    French label Skryptöm is moving a step forward with a new release. A hallway is somewhere you pass through. Not the room you have left, not the room you are heading for — just the stretch in between, where the sound from both sides bleeds together and nothing has quite resolved. Truant.J has built a career in that kind of space. The Victoria-based artist works between the dance floor and the esoteric, and Dancing In The Hallway is the clearest statement of that yet: eight tracks of techno made as much from texture and atmosphere as from drums, functional enough for the floor and strange enough to stay with you afterwards. The record marks his return to Skryptöm after the collaborative album with Moteka — this time alone. It is a natural fit. Nearly twenty years in, Antoine Husson’s label has never had much interest in the obvious, and has built its catalogue on artists who treat techno as a language rather than a formula.     PREMIERE: Rex Sepulveda - Hanzatud [Infolines Music]

    The Detroit-based Infolines label drops its eighth compilation, featuring label boss Echoføn, Rex Sepulveda, and Infolines label bosses ADMN & Dev-Lish (Ian Desmond), arriving 8th September 2026. First up, Echoføn is the Detroit-based production duo and Blank Code co-founders Chad Parraghi and Corbin Davis. The mix of techno, drum & bass, and complex polyrhythms has long been shaping their native underground while picking up high-profile support from the likes of Polygonia and Kangding Ray. They open with the slow, dark, mid-tempo moodiness of 'Liedernacht', which has dubby drums and unsettling atmospherics. Next is Infolines founder, music engineer, TV Lounge resident alumni, and Lincoln Factory resident ADMN, aka Alexander Drazin, who explores the darker recesses of techno on labels like Planet E, Rekids, and Refuge. Here he works with Detek Music co-owner and 20-year veteran Dev-Lish (Ian Desmond), who has a renowned live show and explores a wide range of techno soundscapes. Their 'Physical Education' suspends you amid crunchy percussion and bleeping synth modulations that are unsettling yet inviting as the physical groove stomps through a lonely landscape. Rex Sepulveda is another Motor City mainstay and founding member of D Records, whose sound fuses the city's unmistakable techno heritage with influences from across the globe. Active since the mid-1990s, he's released and remixed for Development, D Records, Plus 8 and Flumo, amongst others. His 'Hanzatud' is a warped, elastic deep techno rhythm, imbued with abstract textures and wonky pads that evoke freaky dancing and alien imagery. Finally, ADMN goes solo for 'Carrier Sense', which dials up the pressure with glitchy synth patches and prying pads over thudding, swinging kicks. It's a fantastic tension builder with a muscular presence and futuristic outlook. Born in Greece with Italian and Austrian roots, DJ and producer Marina George has quickly become known for her ability to create a unique, captivating atmosphere. Her sets are a masterclass in building energy, weaving techno with experimental soundscapes and genres including breaks, ambient, and electro. Influenced early on by the emotional depth of trip hop, she brings a cinematic and textured aesthetic to her hypnotic, driving sets, forging a deep and sensual connection with her audience. Marina has already left her mark across major cities such as London, Athens, Ibiza and Amsterdam, sharing the stage with techno heavyweights like Ben Klock, Ø [Phase] and Dave Clarke. Now based in Berlin, she holds a residency at iconic techno institution Tresor and served as a resident curator for "Tresor New Faces”. Drawing inspiration from her passion for psychology, Marina often incorporates her own voice or thought-provoking samples into her music, offering a deeper narrative that explores themes of human emotion. Marina’s commitment to vulnerable storytelling is also evident in her productions, which have been released on prestigious labels such as Planet Rhythm, Kneaded Pains and Suara. Fueled by a relentless dedication to her craft, Marina George is a force behind the decks and strives to inspire positive change within the techno community.
