    Set in the years of the Civil War, young man William goes about life blissfully. He aspires to be a cook with his one of his families young slave, Barbury. After developing a small crush on her, he finds his mindset about slaves and other things to change. When his confederate father gets promoted to general he demands his son to fight along side him. William must face the decisions of an adult; fight for the unjust or bring shame upon his fathers name. Will he courageously stand up for his friends rights? Or cowardly cave in to his fathers expectations?
