    Welcome to Season 2, Episode 2 of The Unpacked Podcast! In this episode we discuss the new information we have received ahead of the upcoming football card releases. We start with Adrenalyn XL and review the starter packs that Jack opened on his channel. We discuss the new 3D Lenticular Limited Editions, the new insert cards (Fire and Ice Subsets), the new card designs, what is inside the starter pack and what is included on the checklist, including some additions and missing bits and pieces! We also discuss our thoughts on the new Kick Off Multipacks and what these include and how impressed with the new cards we were! We then switched to talk about the teasers we have had from topps for the new Match Attax collection. We talked about the heritage cards bringing back the 07/08 card design, the new Limited Edition concept, including new Aqua, Lava, Lightning and Atomic Limited Edition cards! We also discussed the design of the 100 Club cards and the other chase elements like Chrome Cards, die cut shield cards and the return of autograph cards and shirt relic cards!!     Welcome to Season 2, Episode 1 of The Unpacked Podcast! In this episode we discuss the upcoming releases of Match Attax and Adrenalyn XL. We look at the new flyer topps have released for the upcoming Match Attax 2021/2022 collection and discuss all the exciting information they have provided on there, including the potential number of cards in the set, what the crystal parallel cards might be and what heritage cards we could see! We also have a look at and discuss the first two cards released, what we like, why we feel topps are making steps forwards and what this all might mean when the cards are released in August! We move on to discuss the upcoming Adrenalyn XL 2021/2022 release and the Kick Off Multipacks which come out on the 21st of July. We discuss what might be in those and we also talk about the badge cards we have seen, as well as all the information we have so far on what products are being released and what subsets the collection will include and how we hope Jewel cards and some kind of fun chase element are added to this seasons set! With the collection having now been out a week, Toby and Jack discuss their thoughts on the cards now they have them in hand! Jack shares with us his thoughts on packing a Mason Mount Autograph card, while Toby talks about how the purple parallel cards in the collection have grown on him! Both Jack and Toby discuss the number of base cards in the collection, what 1 thing they would add or change that they feel is missing. They also talk about how easy the collection is to complete, their favourite card designs and the Limited Editions in the collection! In this episode we discuss the upcoming Match Attax Bundesliga Chrome set, Match Attax 101 and the brand new football card shop in Brighton- Fora Sports Trading Co. We start this weeks episode with a discussion about the big card collection news of the week, which was topps announcing the release of Bundesliga Match Attax Chrome for the first time! We discuss what we both have ordered, the autograph checklist and what personally will be hunting for in the Chrome collection. Our attention then turned back to the topic of last weeks podcast, Match Attax 101. We talk about what we now know, the confirmartion the mini stats are gone and how we feel the 101 countdown is taking shape so far. We also take a look at Wave 2 of Tyson Beck's Match Attax Fire and give our opinions on the 2 cards released so far, before turning our attention to the news that for Euro 2020 each nation will be able to take 26 players rather than 23, so we debate the additional 6 England stickers we would include in an update set for the Panini Euro 2020 Tournament Edition Stickers. To finish things off, we also talk about the brand new Fora Sports Trading Co Shop which has opened in Brighton and why this is such good news for the collecting community and what we hope this might lead to!     Welcome to episode 8 of The Unpacked Podcast! In this episode we discuss how we've seen an influx in people returning to the hobby (in multiple capacities) as well as the success of breakers on Instagram. We were delighted to be joined by Elliot (EC Trading) on todays episode of the podcast, as someone who has recently returned to the hobby after several years away. It was great to chat to Elliot about why he decided to return, his motivations, what he hopes to do with his Youtube channel and what he thinks of the some of the new hobby releases and why he is so drawn to these. We also discuss a joint business venture between Jack and Elliot, called TradeWii cards and both talk about why they started this up, why they get such a buzz and how they facilitate other people receiving fantastic cards and why it is so fun to open the hobby/higher end products. Products discussed in todays episode include Panini Prizm and Obsidian, as well as the excitement around the soon to be released Panini Mosaic Euro 2020 hobby card release, while we also talk heavily about Topps F1 Chrome and past hobby releases from Topps such as Premier Club. We also have a good conversation around the price of the hobby products and whether the jump between entry level collections and the hobby sets is too much in some cases. In this episode we answer your questions which you have given us over the past few weeks! Some really intriguing questions from you lot as well so thank you very much for those! The questions vary from topical issues to hypothhetical questions and things about our personal collections and archives! Topical questions were asked around things such as the price point of current collections and our thoughts on recent events or collections, with questions about both Topps and Panini collections over the past 12 months. We were also asked for thoughts around future collections too, particularly around future Match Attax releases! From a hypothetical perspective, we were asked about what card collection we would produce if we were to hold just one license, which produced some great discussion around any potential EFL license and the marketing opportunites that could create and the demand for such a collection from the EFL. We were also asked around what we we would price collections at if we were in a position to manage the price of products! Another great question focused on which card we would buy if we could add any card to our collections that we don't have! Questions around our personal collections centred on our favourite collections from the past and the best card we have in our collections! In this episode we discuss the new Panini Euro 2020 sticker collection, as well as Topps' recent online releases being Topps F1 Chrome and 95 Merlin. We start this podcast by discussing the brilliant new Euro 2020 Tournament Edition Stickers from Panini, particularly focusing on why we like them, how Panini have done well to innovate and what a major tournament means for sticker collecting! We pick out what we both love about the new stickers and have a little chat about the player choices too! We also chat about some omissions to the sticker this time and what we might change! We then move on to talk about the disappointment that was the release of Topps Formula 1 Chrome. We debate why it went wrong, how the release could have been improved and why it was disappointing for F1 fans and how cool some of the card concepts were! We finish by talking about how that release contrasted with the Topps Merlin 95 release a week later, which was far better handled by Topps and was really well received. We discuss the nostalgia, price and appeal of this set and whether we think Topps might have learnt from the success of this and our hopes for similar improvements going forwards.
