The Bible says that God speaks in a still and quiet voice, plus scripture such as John 10 says that we know God’s voice — but why does it seem so challenging to hear Him sometimes? It’s because we live in a world that’s loud and causes “noise” which distracts and prevents us from hearing the fullness of God. Since the noise of the world intentionally distracts us, we have to intentionally seek the voice of the Lord. I’ve struggled with this, and as I work towards tuning out the noise of the world, I want to share the Gospel and help others along this journey called life.

    Hello and welcome to the eighth episode of the Tune Out the Noise podcast! In this episode, we ask the question "are you humble?" As I was reading the Bible and specifically the books of Moses, I started to become more and more curious about what allowed Moses to have an intimate relationship with God. As I kept reading, Numbers 12:3 directly answered my question and inspired this episode's topic. Walking in the spirit of humility allows us to walk in the Spirit of God. And that's where today's episode is rooted in. As mentioned in this episode, I want to personally thank you for how you've received and supported the podcast. I've recently received a lot a positive feedback and I'm so thankful simply to be a willing vessel for the Holy Spirit. God is so great and it's a blessing simply to be a witness and testify of who He is so more people in the world may know Him.     007 - Are You Armed? | Podcast

    Welcome to episode 007 of the Tune Out the Noise podcast! Similar to most episodes, this one comes from a place in which I've personally found myself growing in. The "theme" of the episode is inspired by spy/action-thrillers (specifically James Bond, hence episode 007), but that's only used as supporting imagery for the point that I'm driving home. Many of us as Christians can be "armed" by the Bible being readily available, but sometimes we lack being "armed and dangerous" because we're not ready to start using what the Holy Spirit has equipped us with. I tried something different with the camera setup and editing style. This is something that I care about so I want to work on increasing the "production value".     Welcome back to the Tune Out the Noise podcast! It's been five years since the first episode, but the Lord has been faithful and kept me in a place to return to the podcast. In this episode, I spend time reintroducing the concept of the podcast and kicking things off by asking, "are you loved?" It can be easy to quickly think about being loved from a spouse, family, friends, community, or your coworkers. However, we sometimes find ourselves determine if we are loved or the quality in which we are loved based on those things mentioned. This determination process can often dictate how we think, value, or carry ourselves based on the conditionality or changing nature of that love. What if I told you there's a more secure and greater love that we should allow to dictate our lives? That's what I'll spend time speaking on because the most high God has made an eternal declaration of His love for us through the sending of His Son! This unconditional love empowers us to walk in a greater place knowing that we are loved solely because of who God is.
