    EP21 It's my time!

    Have you ever wondered if you were doing all the right things? Are you worried about failing again?  Do you know every failure is another opportunity to get it right?  In this episode, I discuss the thoughts and feelings I've had over the past few weeks and how I show up for myself even when showing up feels like death...that may be a bit dramatic, but you get the idea.     EP20 - Starve your Doubts and feed your faith

    In this weeks episode I talk about the importance of catching a bad thought before it can take your focus.  So often we let the "facts" determine how we will react or behave and many times we act in a negative way instead of a positive manner.  If you let a "fact" get you to focus on an negative outcome, this will almost always result in feelings of anxiety, depression and anger. The good news? You have the power to stop that thought dead in its tracks! The more you repeat a bad cycle the more new skills you learn. In Skating, one of my favorite teachers, Myesha McCaskill says if you are not falling you are not learning.  The same applies to life. Don't be discouraged if you keep messing up.     EP 19 I quit smoking weed 11 months ago but I still have thoughts of getting high

    So you've gotten sober, now what?  Have you ever quit a bad habit and thought you would never walk down that path again?  Have you fallen off the wagon and now are stuck in a state of guilt and condemnation?  In this weeks episode I talk about the challenges that come with getting and staying clean.  I discuss how I thought about going back to bad habits when life happens and the good times seem so far away.  I hope this gives you a new perspective and helps you see that no matter what struggles you face, you too will be just fine.

Do you let years pass by because all of your ducks are not in a row or the planets are not aligned just right?  Are you holding your dreams hostage, because you are waiting to be ready? Let me be the first to tell you that you are ready now!  Do you know why?  Because "ready" is an illusion! Ready happens once you get started! In this weeks' episode we learn why sloppy progress is better than no progress at all. You may step forward and step in the mud but mud washes off!  The mud only turns to cement when we stay stuck in it!  Most of the time perfection is a symptom of fear and THAT is what needs to be addressed.  What scares you is the real reason you yearn for perfection and once you conquer your fears you can step out on faith and start winning!
