Hi guysss, we are backkk!!! Today we move to France with an interesting question... what if you could study at university, gain professional experience and earn a salary at the same time? In France, the alternance system allows students to combine academic studies with working in a company. But how does it actually work, and what is it like to experience it firsthand? In this episode of Travel Size, we meet Nathan, who combines his studies in data science and economic analysis with professional experience at Würth, and Ornella, who works in the hospitality industry at Le Domaine du Mas de Pierre, a luxury hotel in the South of France. From balancing university deadlines and professional responsibilities to gaining independence, developing new skills and preparing for the job market, we explore the opportunities and challenges of alternance. Could this system work in Italy, too? And would our guests recommend it to other students? Tune in to discover a different way of connecting university and the world of work! 🎧 Travel Size — Stories, cultures and opportunities beyond borders Music licensed through Soundstripe.
