Cloudflare for WordPress: My Full Stack Setup on the Free Plan

Turning on Cloudflare is only the beginning of a WordPress setup. In this conversation, I explain how DNS, origin certificate validation and cache rules fit together, then walk through the roles of R2 storage, Workers and email authentication. The useful distinction is what belongs at the edge and what still needs WordPress to understand the visitor. We discuss Full (strict) SSL, static asset caching, logged-in pages and carts, plus the mistakes that can break mail or expose private content. These are configuration choices from my setup, not a performance benchmark. Stores and membership sites need their own cache exceptions tested before changes go live. Best One-Time Purchase Mac Apps: What I Bought, What I'd Skip, and When I'd Subscribe

Buying a Mac app once can remove a monthly bill, but the license decides what you're buying. In this conversation, I explain the difference between perpetual use, lifetime updates and paid major upgrades, with the apps that earned a place on my Macs and the ones I wouldn't buy again today. We work through writing apps, screenshot tools and everyday utilities, including CleanShot X, Typora, Things 3 and BetterTouchTool. You'll hear when a subscription makes more sense, what to check before buying a lifetime deal and how the App Store compares with buying direct. Prices and offers can change; the developer's current checkout and license terms should decide the purchase. Chapters 00:00 Buy once or subscribe, and the three lessons 03:41 What pay once actually means: lifetime, update windows, major versions 07:33 Per-platform purchases, paid services, apps that went free, the ten questions 11:19 Screenshots, video and writing: CleanShot X, Borumi, Typora, Scrivener, iA Writer 15:20 The everyday apps: Things 3, Enpass, Brave Origin, PDF Expert 19:23 SEO and design: SEO Utils, Pixelmator Pro, Eagle 22:07 The utilities: BetterDisplay, Clop, BetterTouchTool, TG Pro, small buys 25:10 What Gaurav would not pay for today, and the apps he recommends without owning 30:01 Lifetime deals to avoid, and when he subscribes instead 34:05 Direct or App Store, the checklist, the limits, and the close Sources and Related Reading Full Article and Checklist75 Best Mac Apps and UtilitiesEnpass ReviewEnpass discountsBest Photo Editors for MacBest Writing Apps for Mac, iPad and WindowsHow to Run Windows Apps on MacTech Habits That Actually Improved My Life (the Todoist decision)My Toolbox and Work SetupMore From Gaurav GauravTiwari.org: Articles, Tools and Tutorials Gatilab: Web Development, Design and Growth

Rank Math vs Yoast: Which WordPress SEO Plugin Should You Use?

Rank Math and Yoast solve the same WordPress SEO problem, but their workflows suit different people. In this conversation, I explain which plugin I'd choose for a site owner who will configure the settings and which makes more sense for an editorial team. We compare redirects, role controls, editor guidance and setup defaults, then look at schema, sitemaps and migration. The speed discussion comes from matching test installs of the free plugins; paid features and license terms come from documentation. A lighter editor download is not proof of better rankings, and switching plugins won't repair weak content or missing internal links.
