The victim in this episode also played the would-be father-in-law in the movie Arthur. He was equally terrifying in that movie!
Paul & Liz Are Good Company

I’m working my way through these delightful podcasts. My favorites of the Columbo crop. Paul and Liz have a charming sibling rapport and bring warm conversation and real insight as they “wander” with Columbo. I appreciate the way they thoughtfully research each episode, and even though I’m a long-time fan I’m grateful for the discoveries I’ve made along with them. Their thematic snacks and drinks are just plain fun. Bravo, you guys!
Appears to be a show about snacks

I thought this was a Colombo podcast but I’m almost 5 minutes into it and they’re still talking about snacks. Vegan snacks and carrot juice. I feel like I have the wrong podcast maybe. I’m looking for a podcast about the television program Colombo.
Dynamic Duo

This brother and sister break down one of the greatest shows TV history. A “dynamo duo” breaking down Columbo in such a beautiful way.
Has its place, but mostly uninteresting.

Big Columbo fan, here. I watched it when it was new. I’ve seen every episode many times. I adore Peter Falk’s iconic character. I also dislike all other network episodic TV from that era. Columbo is a diamond in a trash heap. I’ve tried to listen to several episodes of this podcast, and can never finish one. The male host does much research about cast members, what else the appeared in, etc. There’s some talk about the sets. At some point far in, they bring up the plot. They are unfortunately boring, insipid and get much wrong about the era. Lots of guesswork. They have no chemistry. Tip: if you don’t know the meaning of a word, or a historical reference, look it up, instead of making dumb guesses. Not recommended.

A model for aspiring podcasters

It would take an essay to go through all the factors that make this such a charming and high quality podcast. What the speakers bring to the conversation totally justifies the runtime of each episode. It’s a relaxing but informative listen that will enhance one’s enjoyment not only of Columbo but of all tv and film.
Good fun!

Good podcast to continue the enjoyment of rewatching Columbo. Fun discussions and conversation.
Nice addition among the Columbo podcasts!

I recently discovered this podcast; and like a fine wine, it gets better with every sip. Liz & Paul discuss their review of Columbo episodes in a manner that I could see doing if I could get my close friends to become interested in Columbo. Unfortunately, I’ve not had much luck convincing friends to get onto the Lieutenant bandwagon, but sitting back and listening to this sibling duo is the next best thing! I appreciate that they share food and drink every episode. They both offer interesting insight. Paul discusses a lot of behind the scenes information about writers, actors of the show; and Liz discusses other neat observations of each scene from wardrobe to set design and sharing her passionate curiosity about the way certain moments play out on the program.
Great take on beloved show
