    Nugget: Make Your Ads Pay for Themselves

    With marketing, one of the ways that you can get back the expenses that you've paid into, some of your paid advertising to acquire clients, is to have a lot of smaller products to offer your audience as a way to work with them but also, it's going to recoup that cost. When you're thinking about ways to create small offers and ways to work with your audience, think about the pain points that they have. What is one small thing that you can solve for them with an offer? - Maybe it's an e-book that's going to explain the process that you do. - Maybe it's a tutorial of you showing a step-by-step process. A lot of times we over-complicate our offers and thinking that has to be this major, big thing and of course as entrepreneurs and online business owners, a lot of us have those signature programs. But keep in mind there are a lot of opportunities to work with our audiences with smaller offers, offers that are very specific and are going to solve a specific problem for them.     Nugget: Focus on Building the Right Audience

    When it comes to list building, give yourself some grace, give yourself some time and give yourself permission to test things out. A lot of times we compare ourselves to other people, we see them with big vanity metrics, and we start getting into our own heads thinking we need that too. But here’s the thing, it’s better to have quality people on our list, to begin with than a big, huge number of unqualified people. We really need to take the time to tune in our messaging, tune in our offers, and make sure we're in front of the right people, because if we get a big vanity metric and attract all the wrong people into our world, what good is it anyway? Give yourself the time and space to build the right foundation.     Nugget: Build at Your Own Pace

    Now a lot of people look at Melissa and I's successes, they see the multiple offers that we do, they see all the things and it's very common that people come up to us. And they're like, oh, we want to do you have multiple memberships, you have a bunch of offers and things and what they don't realize it's taken us many years to get here. We actually only put one offer at a time in the marketplace. We tweaked it, we tested it, we got it down to the point that allowed us to freedom in the time and energy and space to then create the next logical step for the next offer. If you just compare and look over at our entire frontal system, you would in a blink go, ”oh, I need to do all of that”. And it's like, no, we didn't just do all of that. Give yourself some grace. You're not racing anyone else. You're on your own race. You're on your own journey. Give yourself permission to just steadily make progress.
