    Doesn't it hurt how easy it can be to get into a habit of seeing ourselves as less because of the mistakes we've made, a scarcity mindset, how someone treats us or any combination of a million other reasons. How easy it is to forget how special, necessary and loved you are? How we can keep ourselves safe by hiding our authenticity behind ego, shame, self limiting beliefs.     Can you trust yourself if you don't trust God?

I believe it's not just so that we remember we didn't get everything on our own, accomplish everything on our own, or win everything on our own, but also so that when we struggle, experience setbacks and disappointments, we don't forget we're not on our own.     This is a man's world. Thats what the song says anyway. Far as I'm concerned, allot of times, especially in dating, men are at a disadvantage. Shout out to the fellas trying to balance understanding a woman's commitments, schedule and priorities with effort, intention and attraction all while ducking the 8 ball corner-friendzone-pocket treatment.
