    Moving Forward After Trauma and Overcoming Unexpected Challenges

    What do you do when your world is flipped upside down and you receive life-changing news? It's an experience no one expects to happen until they are in the middle of it. In this conversation, Rachel is talking with her cousin Josh Warner about his experience with the unexpected trauma that life can bring. At 18 years old Josh was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, a rare cancer that occurs in the bones or the soft tissue around the bones. He graduated from high school in the middle of his chemotherapy treatment which he completed in November 2016. He has been in remission for over four years now and currently attends the University of North Texas where he is pursuing a biology degree. Josh and Rachel got to have a great conversation about Josh's experience going through cancer right out of high school and how he has focused on moving forward with his life by doing the things he is passionate about.     Focusing on the Next Right Thing and Staying True to Yourself

    Are you trying to figure out the best path for your future? Have you ended up in a job or season you weren’t expecting to be in? If you said yes at all or are in a season of transition, this episode is for you. In this conversation, Rachel is talking with Jenna Kuhlman. Jenna is the director for Camp Walk On Water, a Christian summer camp and retreat center in Oklahoma. Every summer she hires a staff of over 40 college students to help run the camp so working with young adults is a big part of her job. Fun fact: The reason Rachel knows Jenna so well is because she worked on staff at Camp WOW in 2017. It was one of the best summers of her life! Jenna and Rachel got to have a great conversation about how Jenna ended up in this career and why she is so passionate about working with young adults.
