Eric Davenport

Eric Davenport’s latest evolution takes shape through two distinct musical identities: as DJ Eric Davenport, he produces and performs House Music, with a focus on Tech House and groove-driven contemporary sounds, while Afro Eric is his creative outlet for Afro Beats and Afro House, exploring hypnotic rhythms, powerful percussion, and soulful energy. For over three decades, Davenport has been shaping underground dance music, carving his own path through funky breaks, House Music, and Afro rhythms, with more than 100 releases—including work as Smitty & Davenport, Metro LA, and under his own name—and over 500 DJ performances to his name. Now based in the Sierra Nevada mountains of North Lake Tahoe, California, Davenport draws inspiration from the landscape around him—expansive, raw, and deeply rhythmic—bringing that energy into both his productions and performances. With decades of experience behind him and a fresh creative vision moving him forward, Davenport continues to push his sound in new directions while staying rooted in the energy, soul, and connection of the dance floor.
