    Voices: I Am | “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction” | John 6:1-35 - Jeff Williams

    Throughout the Gospel of John, Jesus made seven unforgettable statements beginning with the words, “I Am.” Each statement reveals more and more of His identity and invites us to trust Him with every part of our lives. In "I Can’t Get No Satisfaction" from our “Voices: I Am” series, we look at the feeding of the 5,000 and Jesus' declaration that He is the Bread of Life. We live in a culture with more than almost any generation before us, yet we can’t seem to get enough. The problem isn't that we're hungry—it's what we're trying to feed our hunger with. Jesus should be our first response, not our last resort, because the deepest hunger of your life can only be satisfied by Him! SCRIPTURE: • John 6:1-13, 32-35 (CSB) 1 After this, Jesus crossed the Sea of Galilee. 5 Therefore, when Jesus looked up and noticed a huge crowd coming toward Him, He asked Philip, “Where will we buy bread so these people can eat?” 6 He asked this to test him, for He Himself knew what He was going to do. 9 “There’s a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish—but what are they for so many?” 11 Then Jesus took the loaves, and after giving thanks He distributed them to those who were seated—so also with the fish, as much as they wanted. 13 So they collected them and filled 12 baskets with the pieces from the five barley loaves that were left over by those who had eaten. 32 Jesus said to them, “I assure you: Moses didn’t give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the real bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is the One who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34 Then they said, “Sir, give us this bread always!” 35 “I am the bread of life,” Jesus told them. “No one who comes to Me will ever be hungry, and no one who believes in Me will ever be thirsty again.” THIS WEEK'S TAKEAWAY: • Are you hungry for Jesus?     Known | “This is How We Do it!” | Ephesians 4:25-5:2 - Jeff Williams

    In our “Known” series, we explore how who we are in Christ changes how we live and calls us into genuine biblical community. In "This is How We Do it!" from Ephesians 4 and 5, we look at what it truly means to live out what God has awakened in us. Christianity isn't merely subtraction; it's replacement. When God awakens something in our hearts, it changes our speech, our responses, and our everyday lives. The goal isn't just an experience—the goal is resemblance! SCRIPTURE: • Ephesians 4:25-5:2 (CSB) 25 Since you put away lying, speak the truth, each one to his neighbor, because we are members of one another. 26 Be angry and do not sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your anger, 27 and don’t give the Devil an opportunity. 28 The thief must no longer steal. Instead, he must do honest work with his own hands, so that he has something to share with anyone in need. 29 No foul language is to come from your mouth, but only what is good for building up someone in need, so that it gives grace to those who hear. 30 And don’t grieve God’s Holy Spirit. You were sealed by Him for the day of redemption. 31 All bitterness, anger and wrath, shouting and slander must be removed from you, along with all malice. 32 And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ. 5:1 Therefore, be imitators of God, as dearly loved children. 2 And walk in love, as the Messiah also loved us and gave Himself for us, a sacrificial and fragrant offering to God.     Known | “Not Anymore” | Ephesians 4:17-24 - Jeff Williams

    In a world where people are more connected than ever yet feel increasingly isolated, God offers something we all long for: to be fully known and deeply loved. In "Not Anymore" from our “Known” series, we explore how meeting Jesus changes everything. Jesus doesn't just change where you're going when you die—He changes how you live right now. Wrong thinking eventually produces wrong living, but because of Christ, we are called to take off the grave clothes, put on the grace clothes, and live like who we've become! SCRIPTURE: • Ephesians 4:17-24 (CSB) 17 Therefore, I say this and testify in the Lord: You should no longer walk as the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their thoughts. 18 They are darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them and because of the hardness of their hearts. 20 But that is not how you learned about the Messiah, 22 You took off your former way of life, the old self that is corrupted by deceitful desires; 23 you are being renewed in the spirit of your minds; 24 you put on the new self, the one created according to God’s likeness in righteousness and purity of the truth.     Known | “Everybody Matters” | Ephesians 4:7-16 - Jeff Williams

    In a world where people are more connected than ever yet feel increasingly isolated, God offers something we all long for: to be fully known and deeply loved. In "Everybody Matters" from our “Known” series, we explore how God has uniquely gifted every believer to build up the body of Christ. Church isn't a place where a few gifted people minister to everybody else; it's a body where everybody ministers. You aren't just given a place to belong—you have a part to play, because if you belong to Jesus, God has given you something His body needs! SCRIPTURE: • Ephesians 4:7-16 (CSB) 7 Now grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of the Messiah’s gift. 11 And He personally gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, 12 for the training of the saints in the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ, 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of God’s Son, growing into a mature man with a stature measured by Christ’s fullness. 16 From Him the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body for building up itself in love by the proper working of each individual part.     Burn | “Hearts on Fire” (Friend Day) | Luke 24:13-36 - Jeff Williams

    God never intended our faith to be a one-time experience or a momentary spark. The fire He starts in us is meant to grow, mature, and impact others. In "Hearts on Fire" from our “Burn” series (celebrating Friend Day!), we look at the Road to Emmaus to see how Jesus meets us in our disappointment, walks with us in our doubts, and invites us into a bigger story. When you encounter Jesus, you cannot keep walking the same direction. Jesus has a habit of walking toward people who are walking away!     Burn | “Light It Up!” | Matthew 5:13-16 God never intended our faith to be a one-time experience or a momentary spark. The fire He starts in us is meant to grow, mature, and impact others. In "Light It Up!" from our “Burn” series, we explore how Jesus calls us to be the salt and light of the world—living out a faith that actively influences those around us. What Jesus has done in you was never meant to stop with you. You don't have to reach everybody, but you can reach somebody! SCRIPTURE: • Matthew 5:13-16 (CSB) 13 You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt should lose its taste, how can it be made salty? It’s no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled on by men. 14 You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven. Christianity was never meant to be something we believe on Sunday and ignore on Monday. When Christ is at the center, nothing is ordinary anymore—the ordinary becomes extraordinary! SCRIPTURE: • Colossians 3:1-17 1 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. 5 Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 On account of these the wrath of God is coming. 7 In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. 8 But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. 9 Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. 11 Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all. 12 Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, 13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. 14 And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. 15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body.
