    Topic: Being BiTechual

A good technical crew can make even the bad actor look great. Their work is so thankful but so rewarding to them and to the audiences that see it…they are critical to making a great show great. Sometimes you hit a trifecta with an actor and they either came from a technical background or like doing both for different shows. This, we call someone as being “Bitectual”. We talk bout our own technical experiences as well as a local Denver man who is one of the best lighting guys around. Leave us a voice message with your question and we will play it on air! https://anchor.fm/11minutestheatre As always, say hello and/or suggest a podcast topic via email, our website, Facebook or Instagram: https://www.11minutestheatre.com/ Instagram: @11minstheatre Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/11MinutesTheatre/ Email: info@11minutestheatre.com — EPISODE TIMELINE— 00:00 - 03:23 — INTRODUCTION 03:24 - 08:46 — THE ISH QUESTION 1 & 2 07:59 - 11:24 — A CLIP FROM PEN15 - S2 EP6: Tech Rehearsal - https://youtu.be/HQDGMsiwBDk 11:25 - 15:38 — THE ISH QUESTION 3 15:39 - 19:29 — ALESHA’S LUXURIOUS LIBATIONS (“If you can see me, there’s a problem”) 20:52- 24:59— JANINE’S NERDY JIBBERISH (The Beginning of ‘lighting’ and Tech in theatre) 25:00 - 41:59 — BRING IN THE GUEST ( KEVIN TAYLOR - Local Denver Lighting Expert) 42:00 - 53:05 — KEVIN’S QUIZ CORNER (MadLib Theatre - The Flight Attendants) 53:06 - 57:07— CLOSING QUOTES/WRAP UP - (ANTON CHEKHOV) — ALESHA’S LUXURIOUS LIBATIONS RECIPE — “If you can see me there’s a problem” (1 serving) 2.5 oz black vodka 3/4 oz fresh squeeze lime juice 3/4 oz simple strip Edible glitter for garnish Pour ingredients in to a shaker with ice. Shake well until icy cold. Pour in to a martini glass. Add very small pinch of glitter for a great sparkle! Deliciously different! — KEVIN’S QUIZ CORNER — MadLib Theatre - The Flight Attendants Instead of a traditional “Kevin” game, I thought it would be great to just have some non competitive fun and do those fun MadLib games we always did as a kid. And hey, it’s also our acting exercise for the day. After some research I found out Jimmy Fallon also does these on his shows. Great minds think alike. Enjoy. — SEGMENT MUSIC — KEVIN’S QUIZ CORNER “House of Style” JANINE’S NERDY GIBBERISH “City Jaunt” ALESHA’S LUXURIOUS LIBATIONS “Spin” Vocals : Kevin Music : Jay Man www.our-music-box.com
