When Darkness Falls, Jesus is Still in Control (John 18:1-32)

Why should we trust Jesus when everything feels out of control? It’s easy to say, “God is in control,” when life is going according to plan. But what about when the door you were certain God would open suddenly closes? When your family, career, health, or future looks nothing like you imagined? When you’ve prayed and prayed—and instead of things getting better, they seem to be getting worse? In John 18, Jesus’ disciples watched as everything they believed was about to unravel before their eyes. One of their own betrayed Him. Soldiers came to arrest Him. Peter denied Him. And before they could even process what was happening, Jesus was being handed over to Rome. It looked like everything was falling apart… but was it? In this sermon, Pastor Dan walks through John 18:1–32 and helps us see why we can still trust Jesus when the circumstances around us seem anything but certain!

Anchored Through Suffering (1 Pet. 3:13-18)

What if God could use your greatest trials to accomplish something far greater than you can imagine? Suffering is an unavoidable part of life. Whether it's financial hardship, a broken relationship, an unexpected diagnosis, or the loss of someone we love, we all experience seasons that leave us asking, "Where is God in all of this?" But Scripture reminds us that God is neither absent from our suffering nor indifferent to our pain. In this final message of our Anchored series, Pastor Justin Meyer walks us through 1 Peter 3:13–18, revealing how the Gospel transforms our suffering, gives our pain a greater purpose, and equips us to become a source of hope for others. Most importantly, we're reminded that Jesus doesn't just see our suffering. He understands it. He entered into it. And through His death and resurrection, He has secured the promise that one day, suffering will be no more. Whether you're in the middle of a storm, preparing for one, or walking alongside someone who is hurting, this message will encourage you to anchor your soul in the hope of Jesus Christ! Anxiety: 4 Steps to Real Relief from Anxiety (Phil. 4:5-9)

How can we find real relief from our anxieties? A recent CDC stat shows that 1 in 5 Americans have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder—not to mention the countless others who are still suffering in silence. We all know what it’s like to worry. Our health, our children, our finances, our relationships, our future—there’s no shortage of things that can weigh heavily on our hearts and minds. But what do we do when those worries begin to consume us? What role does faith have to play in all this? Does God’s Word have anything to say about it? In Philippians 4:5–9, Paul speaks directly into the anxious heart and shows us how the presence and promises of God can reshape the way we respond to the worries we carry! In this message, Pastor Dan walks through four practical, biblical steps toward finding real relief from anxiety—and experiencing the peace of God that surpasses all understanding in the midst of it. If you’re struggling with anxiety, or walking alongside someone who is, this message is for you! Dan Dameron Philippians 4:5-9 Anchored: Refreshing Truths for Weary Souls September 13, 2026

In this message from Ephesians 2:10, Pastor Dennis Lutz unpacks what it means to be God’s workmanship, uniquely designed and created in Christ for good works.  Discover how knowing your Designer, understanding His design, and walking in His purpose can bring clarity to who you are, where you fit, and how God is calling you to live. Busyness: When Good Things Distract Us from God Things (Lk. 10:38-42)

Have you ever been so consumed with the busyness of life that your time with Jesus slowly fell to the wayside? The deadlines, to-do lists, responsibilities, family, and endless demands on our time aren’t necessarily bad things. In fact, many of them are good things. But even good things can become bad things when they keep us from the One we need most. In Luke 10:38–42 we encounter a woman named Martha loved Jesus, welcomed Jesus, and served Jesus—yet became so consumed with doing things for Him that she nearly missed the joy of simply being with Him. In this message, Pastor Dan helps us see Jesus’ invitation to weary souls: not to work harder, but to sit at His feet and find our rest in Him. Because it’s time spent with Jesus is what sustains a life lived for Jesus.

How to Stand Firm in the Faith (Eph. 6:10-17)

Following Jesus doesn’t mean the battle is over. Sometimes, it means you finally realize you’re in one. Temptation comes. Doubts creep in. Relationships become strained. Trials test your faith. And there are seasons when you genuinely wonder: Do I have what it takes to keep going? In Ephesians 6:10–17, Paul pulls back the curtain on the spiritual battle taking place around us and answers an incredibly important question: How do I stand firm in the faith? In this message, Pastor Dan explores where our strength comes from, who our real enemy is, and how God has equipped us to withstand his attacks. When you feel tired, discouraged, tempted, or overwhelmed by the fight, you don’t have to retreat. God has given you everything you need to stand. Your Work As Worship (Eph. 6:5-9)

Did you know the average person spends 1/3 of their waking lives working? That means whether you love what you do, struggle to make it through the week, or find yourself somewhere in between, the way you approach your work matters. So as followers of Jesus, how exactly should we approach our work? In message from Ephesians 6:5–9, Pastor Dan explores how the gospel transforms the way we view our work—who we’re really working for, where we find our worth, and how even the most ordinary work can become an act of worship!
