    109. Isa Salman: Awakening Together Satsang (July 2026)

We were honored to welcome Isa Salman as our July Satsang guest. Her conversation with Rev. Cyndi Krupp was both inspiring and insightful, offering profound reflections that resonated deeply with our community. About Isa I am a traveler on the path of presence. I was a child with many questions, and that curiosity has followed me through life. My mother introduced me to a simple form of meditation when I was young, long before I knew what meditation was. Later, this curiosity developed into a deeper exploration through mindfulness practice, self-inquiry, and Enlightenment Intensives. My life has included many worlds — studying business, working internationally, traveling, exploring different cultures, and meeting people in many different circumstances. These experiences have continually brought me back to a simple question: what happens when we truly meet ourselves and one another? I’ve practiced Vipassana meditation in the Mahasi Sayadaw tradition and spent many years exploring mindfulness and self-inquiry, including dyads and Enlightenment Intensives. I have also led retreats and shared these practices with others, supporting spaces where people can meet themselves more directly and honestly. Over time, I have come to appreciate the simplicity and depth of direct experience. I see this work less as teaching something new, and more as creating a space where something already present can reveal itself. What continues to interest me is not ideas about awakening or truth, but the immediacy of experience itself — what is here when we slow down and look closely. I don’t see this as something fixed or complete. It is an ongoing inquiry and a living exploration. I forget, I return, I look again. And in that returning, something simple and quietly reliable keeps revealing itself. I’m interested in meeting people in that same spirit — through presence, sincerity, and direct contact meeting what is true in the moment. The invitation is simple: to look honestly, to listen deeply, and to discover what is true in our own experiences. Love podcasts? 108. Yvonne Unger: Awakening Together Satsang (June 2026)

We were honored to welcome Yvonne Unger as our June Satsang guest. Her conversation with Rev. Anne Blanchard was both inspiring and insightful, offering profound reflections that resonated deeply with our community. About YvonneYvonne Unger spent decades searching desperately for a way out of this life – and ended up in awakening. Then came the awakening from awakening, and even the spiritual identity had to go. Today she works with people who have been on the spiritual path for years – and find themselves exhausted, disillusioned, or somehow still not arrived. Holding space for the paradox of how spiritual experiences can become hiding places, and what it means to truly arrive in being human. Her approach turns 180° from most spiritual traditions – not transcendence, but incarnation. Not escaping the human experience, but arriving in it completely, often for the first time. Her work is somatic and trauma-informed, grounded in the understanding that integration requires a regulated nervous system – and that without safety in the body, even the deepest openings cannot land. She works without fixed methods or stages: experiential, precise, and adapted to what arises. Please visit Yvonne’s website at: https://www.yvonne-unger.de/en/ Love podcasts? 106. Regina Dawn Akers: Awakening Together Satsang (April 2026)

We were honored to welcome our founding minister, Regina Dawn Akers as our April Satsang guest. Her conversation with Revs. Rhoda Makled & Anne Blanchard was both inspiring and insightful, offering profound reflections that resonated deeply with our community. About Regina Dawn Akers For those who may not be familiar with Regina’s story, here is some background: Awakening Together‘s founder, Regina Dawn Akers, grew up in middle-America as a Christian. Her religious training came from more than one Christian faith, and she was aware of differences in Biblical interpretation within the Christian community. She was also aware of the similarities that crossed all denominational boundaries, the most important of which was the statement, “God is love.” Regina knew in her heart that this must be true, and she yearned to know God’s love perfectly. Although Regina was fascinated by all religions, she never felt to settle with any particular religion. She was driven by an inner desire she was not yet fully aware of, and Regina needed time to discover the calling within her heart. In April of 2004, Regina spontaneously awakened to her own desire while praying. She describes that prayer this way: “As I was praying, I felt overcome by a desire to be useful. I wanted nothing more than to be completely useful to God for the rest of my life. I told Him that I would learn anything He wanted me to learn and do anything He wanted me to do. I just asked Him to please make me useful.” Regina left her career and home in Massachusetts and moved with her young daughter to North Carolina. After the move was complete, she began the work of listening to the inner dictation that resulted in The Holy Spirit’s Interpretation of the New Testament (NTI). In March of 2006, Regina received guidance to start The Foundation for the Holy Spirit with two friends, David Fishman and Phil Frisk. The purpose of the foundation was to provide resources, teaching and counseling to help individuals become Self-Reliant with their own inner guide, the Holy Spirit. Regina later received guidance to convert Foundation for the Holy Spirit into a church (an assembly of people with a common spiritual purpose) called Awakening Together. Awakening Together’s purpose and five core values were given to her right away from within, so Awakening Together's vision was clear from the beginning. 105. Emeline Lambert: Awakening Together Satsang (March 2026)

We were honored to welcome Emeline Lambert as our March 2026 Satsang guest. Her conversation with Rev Laura Bedford was both inspiring and insightful, offering profound reflections that resonated deeply with our community. About Emeline Lambert: Emeline’s search for truth began early, shaped by a persistent sense of not belonging in a world that felt unreal and without meaning. Beneath years of striving, artistic performance, and inner struggle with depression and anxiety was a question she could not avoid: Who am I? A pivotal retreat experience marked a profound shift in her understanding of self, opening into a deeper recognition of presence and true nature. Since then, meditation, self-observation, and acceptance have grounded her path, transforming her relationships and reframing suffering as part of awakening rather than a detour from it. Emeline speaks about surrendering to what is, and allowing awakening to unfold beyond the mind’s narrative of separation. She emphasizes the role of nature, compassion, and service in spiritual life, and views realization not as a personal achievement but as an ongoing, shared movement of consciousness. Email to reach Emeline: emwlambert@gmail.com ~ As an option, Emeline suggests donating to any charity you feel like donating to so that the energy of this exchange continues. ~ Love podcasts? 102. Murray Kennedy Satsang Reflections (December 2025)

Satsang Reflections is a monthly dialogue held after the Satsang. This installment, on Monday, December 22nd, was hosted by Joseph Schmitz. During Reflections, members shared their insights and takeaways from the Satsang with Murray Kennedy. If you haven't had a chance to listen to the Satsang yet then this could be an opportunity to catch the highlights and see if it might inspire you in some way. About Murray Kennedy Murray Kennedy is a householder, husband, father, and grandfather—and for more than four decades, he has also been devoted to offering Enlightenment Intensives. Since 1982, this work has been his vocation and service, and he remains actively and wholeheartedly engaged in it. Murray is more practical than philosophical, and a lifetime in this work has left him both humble and profoundly grateful. The Enlightenment Intensives are self-inquiry retreats modeled on Zen sesshin and koan practice, designed to create the optimal conditions for awakening. Over the course of three to fourteen days, participants engage in long hours of focused contemplation. Working in dyads, one person contemplates a question such as “Who am I?” and communicates what arises, while the partner listens and receives without judgment or commentary. Every five minutes the roles reverse, and each 40-minute dyad concludes with partners rotating and beginning again. Murray’s role is to teach the practice of inquiry and contemplation, and to inspire and support people in their own process—so they can discover the truth for themselves. The work is deep, powerful, and remarkably pure. It brings both gradual purification and sudden awakenings, which are both beautiful.
