    102. Murray Kennedy Satsang Reflections (December 2025)

Satsang Reflections is a monthly dialogue held after the Satsang. This installment, on Monday, December 22nd, was hosted by Joseph Schmitz. During Reflections, members shared their insights and takeaways from the Satsang with Murray Kennedy. If you haven't had a chance to listen to the Satsang yet then this could be an opportunity to catch the highlights and see if it might inspire you in some way. About Murray Kennedy Murray Kennedy is a householder, husband, father, and grandfather—and for more than four decades, he has also been devoted to offering Enlightenment Intensives. Since 1982, this work has been his vocation and service, and he remains actively and wholeheartedly engaged in it. Murray is more practical than philosophical, and a lifetime in this work has left him both humble and profoundly grateful. The Enlightenment Intensives are self-inquiry retreats modeled on Zen sesshin and koan practice, designed to create the optimal conditions for awakening. Over the course of three to fourteen days, participants engage in long hours of focused contemplation. Working in dyads, one person contemplates a question such as “Who am I?” and communicates what arises, while the partner listens and receives without judgment or commentary. Every five minutes the roles reverse, and each 40-minute dyad concludes with partners rotating and beginning again. Murray’s role is to teach the practice of inquiry and contemplation, and to inspire and support people in their own process—so they can discover the truth for themselves. The work is deep, powerful, and remarkably pure. It brings both gradual purification and sudden awakenings, which are both beautiful. 100. Simcha Lev Satsang Reflections (October 2025)

Satsang Reflections is a monthly dialogue held after the Satsang. This installment, on Monday, October 20th, was hosted by Joseph Schmitz. During Reflections, members shared their insights and takeaways from the Satsang with Simcha Lev. If you haven't had a chance to listen to the Satsang yet then this could be an opportunity to catch the highlights and see if it might inspire you in some way. About Simcha Lev Simcha Lev is an experienced independent director and screenwriter who has worked in the Israeli film industry for over thirty years. A native of Tel Aviv and a graduate of a Jerusalem film school, she currently resides on a kibbutz where she is married with four children and serves as the head of cultural and community life. On December 15, 2018, spontaneously and without any prior knowledge of spiritual inquiry, Simcha reached a state of self-knowledge. This radical and total shift transformed her into an undisturbed state of peace. She has since written two books about this natural state, which she terms “Inchol.” Three years after this transformative moment, she launched a YouTube channel, where she consistently uploads lectures and explanatory videos on the subject. Simcha does not engage in any form of spiritual guidance, does not offer courses or meetings, and does not make a living from sharing this truth. 97. Andy Schraegle: Awakening Together Satsang (September 2025)

We were honored to welcome Andy Schraegle as our September 2025 Satsang guest. His conversation with Rev. Laura Joy Bedford was both inspiring and insightful, offering profound reflections that resonated deeply with our community. About Andy Schraegle From an early age, Andy Schraegle was driven by a deep longing to uncover truth. His path has taken him through the worlds of neuroscience and spirituality, research and silence, intellect and inner stillness. Over time, the need to see reality clearly outshone the impulse to avoid suffering and through the integration of forgiveness and surrender, realization began to unfold in ways the mind could never have predicted. With a background in neurology research, clinical neuropsychology, and work in high-conflict settings, Andy’s professional life has been its own classroom – ultimately returning him to the same frequency again and again: the silent knowing that love is what remains when there is no more seeking. What remains is a tender curiosity for what it means to be fully human: man, son, friend, brother, father, husband, and clinician. The ongoing integration of non-dual awareness into daily life is both a practice and a gift—one he returns to each day, not only for his own unfolding, but in service of those ready to rediscover the peace that never left.
