Crimes From The East

I’m new to this incredibly entertaining and informative podcast! I’m enjoying listening to this brilliant podcast which showcases domestic and international crimes and events which are centered on many cases involving members of the Desi (Indian, Pakistan and or Bangladesh) diaspora. I was largely unaware of many of these cases and I appreciate the cultural analysis and explanation of these stories and incidents. Looking forward to listening to what’s to come!

Great storytellers/pod hosts….. really enjoy the background and history portion, it totally adds context to the stories💯

I was listening to the Hokandara Horror episode as my first listen… when I heard at the end the review you read I giggled… I got here from Jessica at Asian Madness! I love her pod and the fact that she covers cases that don’t normally get covered by mainstream true crime, does solid research, and her mini bios on the countries of origin UGH 🥹😭 I have been SEARCHING for something similar and you two are like if Jessica and the gals from Morbid had a baby “in the east” 🥹🖤 I love hearing background on the places I’m not familiar with or ever taught about in a classroom! You guys are respectful, clever, funny yet empathic. It’s clear you guys take your time researching the cases and your passion for podcasting shines through! I love watching pods grow and transform so I wish you the best moving forward and thank you, you guys certainly gained a new listener - I hooked!

I’ve now listened to every episode available and it is just a fantastic podcast. I met Pia at CrimeCon and she is exactly the same in real life. Hilarious, honest and wonderfully witty. I can’t wait for the next episode 🤗!
