    Our usual Sunday podcast was recorded on Monday, October 19, because we had a busy weekend starting at the Douglas County Library for their Local Author Gathering on Saturday and ending with the debut of Battle Born Bride at the Sierra Arts Foundation on Sunday. We met with lots of people at both events and felt very supported. We talk about both events and send love to everyone connected. Other things going on:- Please pre-order Battle Born Bride.     The life of a writer in a word: *sigh*. But there are good days, and for us, yesterday was one day where everything we do came together. Books were selling, we talked about writing at a public event, the local newspaper did a big feature, CC got invited to a writing retreat, we enjoyed a 60% increase in pre-sales on CC's book, and so on.     It is October, the month which we celebrate Death. That may not be your first thought, but the imagery is all around as we approach Halloween. In that, CC and I discuss how we write about death in our works.
