Welcome to the least expert, least polished, least listened to podcast in the world! The local park kickabout of Football (Soccer for you internationals) Podcasts if you will. Unashamedly amateurish content provided by 3 BBCs (British Born Asians Jon, Tim and Alex) for that street-hawker chinatown flavour on the beautiful game. 3 mates, 2 brothers, 1 passion, 0 quality.

    Episode 2 - The Rebirth

With odds longer than Leicester's title winning season, Down The Line Podcast is BACK for the official 2nd episode!! (the first episode was a 2 parter). What is even more astonishing is that this week's episode was only recorded a pod record shattering 7 days ago! Join us as we scour through the wreckage of the ESL, take a shallow paddle into our experiences as British Born Asian football fans and indulge in some fanciful thinking as we attempt to put together a winning pub quiz team fit to take on any Zoom based competition. So sit back, grab a drink and put us on in the background because we're about to dish out as much expertise as a white noise machine... Editor's Note - we apologise for the occasional coo-ing from one of the podder's 4month old son and some other computer noises, we're not experts at editing out this stuff...

  2. Season 1, Episode 2 Trailer

Episode 2 - The boys are back...

It's not the pod you deserve, nor is it the one you need...nor have you ever asked for it... We adopted Florentino Perez's never say die attitude meaning the Down the Line Podcast is back and we've brought a friend. Because what's better than 3 wildly unqualified people talking about football? Four of them.

  3. 03/22/2021

Episode 1B - Delving into a Time Crapsule

You must be a glutton for punishment if you want to listen to the second part of Episode 1. Like it's Star Wars based namesake, this too remains a guilty pleasure likely only enjoyed by a few hardcore listeners (even our mums are questioning our life choices).  More bad puns, more outdated opinions on even more outdated matters and a segment where we try to flex our understanding of football tic tacs and philosophy. If this pod is like a game of two halves, this is where the opponent relentlessly bangs in goal after goal a la USA-Thailand at the women's world cup. We are Thailand. Enjoy (responsibly) part 2 of this terrible pod.

  4. 03/22/2021

    Episode 1A - A False Start

We recorded this episode back in 2018 so it makes for interesting retrospective listening. Have a listen to hark back to simpler times before the pandemic, VAR, fake crowd noises and empty stadiums. No facts were checked in the recording of this episode and any expertise/opinions expressed are provided from a place of limited knowledge and much speculation. The episode has been split into 2 parts to prolong your agony. On the off chance you enjoyed this, leave a like, rate or a comment or however this platform works and maybe, just maybe, I can persuade the guys to come back for a more up to date pod.

*Bang* Announed myself on the big stage

Are you DTL (down to listen) to DTL Podcast? A quick fly-by of our first two episodes covering one of our podders' goal of their lives, #WengerOut, VAR and more - hope you can join us. Remember it was 2018...
