Really great concept

Awesome concept and awesome podcast. Really cool way to get some inside baseball on some of my favorite records.
I listen religiously but have notes…

If you are interested in how indie records get made this is a mostly non-technical look at the artistry of recording. The focus seems to be on rock bands of various sub genres with like 95% of the guests seeming to be white dudes recording in studios with their bands as opposed to say, young female bedroom producers making trap music on their laptops. Some more variety would be nice. Also, the host talks too much - often much more than the guests who I’d like to hear from more. He does have a lot of experience to share though, so it’s not without merit. Just wish he’d practice a little brevity. My favorite segment is called Gear Candy which they break out as separate episodes. Guests talk about their desert island piece of equipment, for those who want a bit more of the technical details. Despite some flaws it is worth a listen.
Brilliant

The brilliant mind of Casey Cavaliere! This podcast is a must listen for music nerds! Go back and binge Season 1 if you haven’t! Keep up the great work!
Painful Listen

The host of this podcast likes to speak 50 words for every 1 word the guest speaks. How about letting the guest talk some more? Vince Ratti is an awesome engineer. Listened for him but left the podcast unimpressed.
