    Pear Old Fashioned

    We went the simple route and made a Spiced Pear Old Fashioned, right from the distillers website. 2oz Brandy (source calls for whisky) 3/4oz St George Spiced Pear 4 dashes Angostura bitters The 40 elephants were an all women crime syndicate operating in London from approximately the 1870s to the 1950s.     The cocktail that needs a name: 1.5oz vodka 1.5oz dry red wine .5oz St George Spiced Pear Liqueur .25oz maple syrup .25oz lemon juice top with up ~1oz club soda In 1893 The US Supreme Court decided that the Tomato is in fact a vegetable, when it matters for import taxes.     Spiced Pear Liqueur!

    In this new season we are experimenting with the Spiced Pear Liqueur from St George Distillery. Fertilizer and explosives share some key ingredients. So after WWII many explosives factories started making fertilizer which helped grow the American lawn, but also an enormous amount of corn that sustains a huge portion of the world's population.
