    After working with thousands of students through our programs, along with our own personal experience of rollercoaster dieting, and extensive advanced training in metabolism, we've discovered how to create real, lasting weight loss. Without deprivation or defeat! We've discovered many reasons why dieters fail at dieting and want to share the top 9 reasons with you today.

    Chris Sequenzia is our special guest in this episode. He is not only my husband and ministry partner, he is our Healthy Free Life resident physical therapist, strength coach, metabolic expert and creates all of our exercise videos for our programs.     In this episode, you’ll learn that diets fail because dieters often...

    1. Don't invite God into the journey.

    2. Haven't changed relationship with food.

    3. Focus more on losing weight than creating the healthy lifestyle that leads to weight loss.

    4. An all-or-nothing mentality or thinking perfection is required.

    5. Believing one diet fits all.

    6. Thinking eat less, exercise more is the right approach.

    7. Taking a calorie-only approach to weight loss or believing a calorie is a calorie.

    8. Some are metabolically unhealthy and resistant to weight loss.

    9. Focused too heavily on diet and exercise and ignore the other healthy habits that are even more important to the metabolism, like worship, rest, hydrating, sleeping well and moving throughout the day.


    And most importantly, you'll learn what to do instead.

God-centered approach to health…wow!!!

I am thrilled to have found this podcast on a healthy lifestyle as it pertains to those of us who are Jesus-followers. There are so many diet plans and podcasts on eating well, but none that I’ve found bring Christ into it. I’ve never been able to diet or eat healthy because I just don’t have the willpower or self-control. In listening to Katrina share her own story, which is just like mine, and listening to all her podcasts thus far, I realize that this is not just a battle against flesh and blood, but it is a spiritual battle as well. I need Christ to empower me, so I must invite Him in to this part of my life as well. I need His strength. I can’t do this on my own, but I can do all things through Christ Who gives me strength. That’s where I’ve gone wrong all this time.
I’m so encouraged and motivated to live a healthy life now. I know it won’t be easy, but I know I can do it with His help. Thank you Katrina, for following God’s call.
