Seeing Red is an insightful, fun and engaging podcast from two knowledgeable journalists/Cardinals fans. I never miss an episode and wait eagerly for each episode to be released to get Bernie & Will’s take on the last week in Redbird baseball. If I had to have one note for the show I’d like them to have better edits to the commercials, they’re pretty abrupt and oddly timed. That said, if you are a fan of the birds on the bat this is the podcast for you! (Forget the one star reviews from the snowflakes)

As a longtime fan of Miklasz/Leitch, it’s fun to hear these two talk Cardinals and delve into issues, either Will as more of the “common fan” while Bernie as the man with inside sources. Only real knock is each guy looooves to tangent. Whether it’s Will reiterating the same point 3-4 times in the span of one minute, or Bernie’s growing reliance on going on long rants to address “strawman” fans that don’t seem to exist outside the worst parts of social media. Get over those hurdles though, and easy to recommend the show to Cardinals fans.

Forgot about the worlds worst theme song. The ads inserted mid sentence are atrocious . Did an 8 year old do the editing? Great content tho. Except the theme song.

Bernie and Will are insightful and knowledgeable. I love it when they discuss the Cardinals. However they spend more time ranting about how dumb other media members and message board posters are. Please talk about the Cardinals not about how dumb other people are. A common refrain has been about how thin skinned Mike Matheny was. NO ONE is more thin skinned than Bernie. Accept that you are a public figure and people are going to disagree with you. I want to hear what YOU have to say about the Cardinals. Not what you think about what other people are saying.

Thanks for being critical of Cardinals payroll and lack of being prepared for the future. Time for Mo to go!

This podcast is really good. It is well made and they have good opinions about the cardinals! Yay!

These guys are great. Both writers that I respect with a deep knowledge of MLB in general and in the Cardinals in particular. They aren’t beholden to the team so they have no fear of criticizing those who need criticizing! Well-reasoned arguments and healthy skepticism make for a very enjoyable listen that I look forward to every week!

I look forward to this every week. Feels like I’m sitting at a bar around a camp fire talking ball. I don’t always agree with everything but that’s what makes it fun! Love the show.
