    S3 E29: Today!

In this episode, Nikki talks about the importance of planning for the future. Planning is a part of life and must be done to keep some kind of life order. But are we supposed to focus on something in particular, today? Jesus gives us the answer in Matthew chapter 6.

    S3 E28: “I Can’t Do This”…”Oh, But You Can!”

In this episode, Nikki wants to know what keeps you motivated. Do you always seek assurance, adoration or encouragement from others to give you motivation to do life? What if the motivation from others never comes to you? What do you do? Hear what Nikki has to say and jot down some notes…this is an intriguing topic to ponder. S3 E27: A Helpful Bible Study Resource

In this episode, Nikki shares some of her favorite Bible study material from The Daily Grace Co. This company provides quality and in-depth workbooks and more for women, men and children. The ‘end of lesson’ questions are thought and discussion-provoking. Check out their website here at www.thedailygraceco.com! As a reminder, the Bible should always be our number one resource for knowing more about God and His will for our lives. It is perfect and no additions are permitted. That being said, having a workbook or “help” like a dictionary or concordance can be quite helpful for diving into a deeper study of God’s word. Any bible study material you choose to use should always be in line with God’s word and His will. *REPOST S3 E26: “Joy in the Morning?”

*Please enjoy this repost of episode #3 while Nikki is tending to her health and self-care. It may be what you need to hear at this moment. Thank you! In this episode, Nikki shares her thoughts of King David’s ‘song of expectation’ in preparation for the dedication of the temple. Psalm 30:5 is an interesting verse reading “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” What does this statement mean? How does one find joy in difficult times and circumstances? Are we to have JOY in the midst of the trial or after God delivers us? Grab your favorite tea (or coffee) and get ready for intriguing conversation.

    S3 E25: “Leave the Weeds Alone…”

In this episode, Nikki invites you into a short study of Jesus’ Parable of the Weeds in Matthew 13:24-30. Who does not love a beautifully manicured flower garden? Keeping the weeds out can be overwhelming as they seem to come from somewhere and nowhere at the same time. But that is what we want, right? A flower garden without imperfections and everything strategically placed so that it can flourish and grow? Kind of reminds you of the world we would like to live in, but that is not the case. This world has many imperfections, us included. Jesus said to leave the weeds right where they are, amongst the wheat. Why? Because He will take care of it on His own time, in His own way. *REPOST S3 E3: Leaves, Branches, and Roots with Elyse Torno and Angela Wray

This is a REPOST due to me recuperating from illness. If you missed this episode, here is your chance to catch up on an intriguing conversation. In this episode, Nikki tackles the topic of friendship. What better way to dive in than to have two good friends on the show. Nikki, Angela Wray and Elyse Torno are sisters in Christ and have been dear friends for nearly four years. They each are from different walks of life and, currently, in different stages of life, but somehow have created a deeper connection over time. Let’s have a chat about friendship and the joy and struggles it can bring to your life.
