Anyone can write, as long as you are trying, you are bound to come up with something great eventually. If you just keep plucking away at it, who knows what could happen... You don't have to be amazing, it's just fine to be an alright writer.

    Where Roses Bloom

Originally written in 2014 by Adam page about the tragic suicide of a friend, this song is all about the sorrow of losing someone far too young. Adam and Marvin rewrote this song in 2018, after the suicide of another friend, and added some other instruments in the following summer. It's not completely finished yet, but here it is. G G/B C D Oh my love setting sail 'against the rising tide you are free Tonight You're breaking through clouded skies that have rolled in Oh Can't drown out Your hopes and dreams G D/F# Em C so come Loose your shackled wings Oh You belong in a place where roses bloom Come Make yourself at home And know You are strong in the place where roses bloom G G/B C D you're wonderful Everyone sees how you shine And they stand in awe of you as you light up this autumn sky Your wounded arm In this hour come raise them up know You are still deeply loved So go lose your shackled wings And know you belong in a place where roses bloom

    Quiet Waters

Written by Adam Page and Jake Emig. Featuring: Curt Bartlett and the Fountain City Band Lead me beside the Quiet waters I'll follow close where ever you go When I fall I won't grow weary You are my hope You are my hope In the valley of the shadow I'm not wanting I fear no evil, you are strong You're My good shepherd and the healer of the nations And what my joy is resting on Goodness and mercy overwhelm me Your rod and your staff bring comfort too in greener pastures you love restores my soul That's what you do That's what you do In the presence of my enemies You prepare a place for me you make me righteous To glorify your name And my cup it overflows With your grace and mercy lord And in your house I Will dwell forevermore

    I Could Dance

This is song number 14 from the Redbeard and company catalog, written by Adam page, and Ben Schatz in 2008. if this song were a Jewish child, we would soon be celebrating its bar mitzvah. Mazeltov! I could dance but these feet got no rhythm I could sing but I haven’t the words I could run… away But you know I’d be coming back someday I could change my name But you’d love me just the same I could hide out anywhere But you’d find me there We could walk in the cool of the day You could say No… put that fruit away Make some new clothes to help me hide my shame And you could Wash me with your love and take my sin away You could change my name Love me in a sweeter way You could send anywhere I’d find you waiting there You could take my song Let the whole world sing along You could take my heart and make it like your own You could lift me up when the waters run oh so high You could set me back down with my feet on the rock that’s dry Now there’s no place I could hide Cause there’s nothing beyond your sight This is what I’m living for Cause there’s nothing I want more… than you
