    Litterboxd - That Darn Cat (1965)

    Oh those darn GBGBs are at it again! This week they review the 1965 original That Darn Cat, which stars a very real cat named DC. When a pair of bank robbers take a bank teller hostage, DC inadvertently reveals a series of clues that could lead FBI agent Zeke Kelso to solve the caper. This movie involves a lot of chasing a cat around and watching a guy get splashed with milkshakes over and over. If that's not your thing, TOO BAD we already watched it okay?? We can't undo watching this movie and now we have to do this contractually obligated review, what do you want us to do? Rent a time machine and use this revolutionary piece of technology to stop ourselves from watching this movie? One of us even enjoyed our watch! What else would we even watch? Lion King? TOO OBVIOUS!     Litterboxd - Cat People (1982)

    Oh boy... The GBGBs are back with a new entry in the Cat Season, and possibly a new entry in the Big Cat sub-season? Warning to our listeners, Cat People (1982) is a bit of an experience and you should probably read the description before watching. It stars Nastassia Kinski as Irena, who discovers that she is part of an ancient line of cat people who transform into leopards when they um..... Anyways, her estranged brother becomes instantly obsessed with her and it's up to Irena and her love interest, Oliver, to navigate this dark and dangerous family curse.....   Thanks for stopping by!

    Jace and Denali embark on a bonus episode journey into BIG CAT country! What will they uncover? Could this mean a new horizon for the Litterboxd season?  This week they review Sabretooth (2002), a Sci-Fi Channel original movie about a genetically engineered Sabretooth who terrorizes campers after escaping into the California wilderness.     Ryan's out of town, so Jace and Denali are here with a bonus this week, reviewing 2024's Ricky Stanicky! This movie stars Zach Efron, Jermaine Fowler, and Andrew Santino as 3 childhood friends who have created a non-existent friend to excuse themselves from all responsibilities. When their suspicious partners finally demand to meet this friend, the trio hires a Vegas performer played by John Cena to put on the performance of a lifetime. Hijinks ensue, and John Cena's character gets a little too attached to his newfound identity as Ricky Stanicky.    Thanks for stopping by!

    Bonus - Pandorum (2009)

    The GBGBs hop out of Litterboxd for a brief detour on a derelict spaceship... This time reviewing 2009's sci-fi horror, PANDORUM! Ben Foster plays an amnesiac worker who crawls out of cryo-sleep to find that his colony ship is not as he remembers. Teamed with his suspicious ship captain played by Dennis Quaid, he must navigate the failing ship while avoiding the hordes of mutated aliens (?) to find out what happened.  This film and its TWISTED ending has long-occupied the minds of the GBGBs, can they get to the bottom of Pandorum?

    Litterboxd - Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022)

    The GBGBs are BACK in the the Litterbox with a review of the great sequel of a spinoff of a sequel, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022)! After using up 8 of his lives, Puss in Boots searches for a fallen wishing star to regain his missing lives while being pursued by the wolf-personification of death.     GREETINGS EARTHLINGS. The GBGBs have arrived to review the 1978 cinema masterpiece, The Cat From Outer Space! When a flying saucer containing an extraterrestrial cat crash lands in Los Angeles, the feline pilot enlists his new human friend Frank to help him finds his way home. Hijinks ensue, the military gets involved, the cat is a psychic telekinetic, sports games are rigged, a 35 min airplane chase unfolds, and the cat learns maybe home is where the tuna is.    Thank for stopping by!

    Litterboxd - The Cat Returns (2002)

    The GBGBs are back with another installment of "Litterboxd", their purr-rific cat-movie marathon! This time they review their first Studio Ghibli movie seen on the show, The Cat Returns (2003). This movie stars GBGB alum Anne Hathaway as Haru, a high school student who is brought to the Cat Kingdom after saving the life of a cat prince. Haru then enlists the help of the dashing debonair cat, The Baron, to help her escape the Cat Kingdom and reverse her transformation into a cat. Me-wow!   Thanks for stopping by!
