    The Waiting Room

In this powerful special episode of the Pray Without Ceasing Podcast, Brother Matthew, Brother Jason, and John and Tammy Tyson are joined by special guest Jess, who courageously shares her testimony of addiction, recovery, and redemption. Jess goes deep into the battles she faced, the moments when hope seemed lost, and the life-changing way Jesus reached into her darkness and pulled her out. Her story is an honest reminder that addiction does not have the final word, our past does not determine our future, and nobody is beyond the saving and restoring power of Jesus Christ. Recovery does not always happen overnight. Sometimes it happens one prayer, one honest decision, and one surrendered day at a time. But when Jesus begins rebuilding a life, He does not abandon the work halfway through. > “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” — John 8:36, NKJV Whether you are currently struggling, walking through recovery, or praying for someone you love, this episode is for you. There is still hope. There is still freedom. And there is still a Savior who enters broken places and makes all things new. Contact the podcast:

The Birthday, the Trumpet, and the King

In this special birthday episode of the Pray Without Ceasing Podcast with Matthew and Friends, Brother Matthew shares a deeply personal message inspired by his birthday falling on Rosh Hashanah—the Jewish New Year and the biblical season associated with the sounding of trumpets. This is not about superstition or claiming that a particular date makes someone more spiritual. It is about recognizing a powerful reminder from God: time is passing, the trumpet is sounding, and Jesus Christ must remain King of our lives. Through the practical and humorous story of a man who became so accustomed to hitting the snooze button that he nearly tried to snooze a hotel fire alarm, Brother Matthew challenges us not to hit snooze when God is calling us to awaken, repent, and return to Him. In this episode, we examine four powerful truths: 1. A birthday reminds us who gave us life. 2. The trumpet calls us to wake up and return to God. 3. The new year calls us to crown Jesus as King. 4. The final trumpet calls us to live ready for Christ’s return. The years behind us are covered by God’s mercy. The days ahead belong to His purpose. Whether Jesus gives us many more birthdays or returns before the next one, may we be found faithful, awake, and ready. The birthday reminds us that time is passing.
The trumpet reminds us to wake up.
The gospel reminds us that Jesus is King. Featured Scriptures:

    Come Closer

This week on the Pray Without Ceasing Podcast, Brother Matthew, Sister Tammy, and Brother Jason come together for a powerful conversation titled “Come Closer.” James 4:8 says, “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” But how do we draw closer when life feels overwhelming, prayers seem unanswered, and the storms around us refuse to stop? Together, we examine what it means to move beyond simply knowing about God and experience a deeper relationship with Him. We discuss the dangers of spiritual distance, the courage it takes to come as we are, and the things we must release to move closer to our Heavenly Father. Through Scripture, heartfelt conversation, and a touching story about a frightened child finding comfort in his father’s arms, this episode offers a powerful reminder: You don’t have to wait for the storm to end before running to God. Sometimes the thunder doesn’t stop—but when you come closer, the Father’s heartbeat becomes louder than the storm. If you’ve been feeling discouraged, distracted, ashamed, or distant, this episode is your reminder that Jesus is still calling you by name and inviting you to come closer.
