Some truth may be found in almost every discipline, however, ultimate truth can only be found in God. His truth is found in the Bible. The Bible can be defined as HIS STORY, God’s record of His eternal existence (Romans 1:19-21) human existence and the creation of all living things (Gen. 1:26-28; 2:7). Jesus said, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). As you listen to this podcast you will begin to discover the truth that will liberate you from all bondage and free you to discover your full potential.

    Putting First Things First

The pursuit of God is the only way we can experience long lasting contentment and satisfaction. However, we cannot expect to achieve this contentment and satisfaction haphazardly but we must make our relationship with Jesus Christ the number one priority of our lives. We do this by seeking Him early in life and throughout our entire life, that is Christ becomes our life long goal, the objective of our life.

    WHY THE TRIALS?

Why the trials and the troubles? The Bible says, they work together “for the good”… (Romans 8:28). What is the good that trials and tribulations produce? James the writer says they teach us how to persevere or patiently endure hardship. He says it this way, “Consider it all joy, my brothers, whenever you encounter various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance” (James‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭LEB‬‬) Trials and tribulations also produces spiritual maturity. Listen to what James the half brother of Jesus says: “And let endurance have its perfect effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking in nothing.” ‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭4‬ ‭LEB‬‬ The ultimate goal of our trials and tribulations is to make us more and more like Jesus Christ. Listen to the Apostle Paul: “And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose, because those whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, so that he should be the firstborn among many brothers.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭28‬-‭29‬ ‭LEB‬‬ Now this cannot be said for everyone, it is limited to those who love God. To love God is to obey Him. It further exclusive to those who are called by God. Here is the question, have you answered the call of God to follow Jesus Christ? https://bible.com/bible/90/rom.8.28-29.LEB https://bible.com/bible/90/jas.1.4.LEB https://bible.com/bible/90/jas.1.2-3.LEB

    WHY THE TRIALS?

    THE NAME OF JESUS DELIVERS

There is no greater Name than the Name of Jesus, it means Jehovah Saves. The Bible says, “Whoever calls on the Name of Jesus shall be Delivered, (Romans 10:13).

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD’S GIFT TO YOU

Jesus promised to give the Holy Spirit to those who believe on Him according to the Old Testament Scriptures. For instance, the prophet Isaiah predicted that Jesus the Messiah would be rejected by his own people the Jews and put to death for their sins (Isaiah 53:1-12). King David also prophesied the resurrection of Christ (Psalm 16:8-11). The apostles Paul and Peter both referred to the Old Testament Scriptures to support their preaching of the Gospel of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:25-32). This wonderful gift, the blessed Holy Spirit is given to all who trust in Jesus Christ and it is received by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 2:21, 38).

    LIFE IS TOO SHORT

Knowing that our life here on earth is very brief in comparison to eternity, we should take God’s offer of eternal life seriously and put our trust in Jesus Christ. I encourage you if you haven’t already placed your faith in Christ to read the Gospel according John, and note how you can have the assurance of salvation through Jesus Christ.

    HANG IN THERE

This message comes to encourage God’s people to persevere through the trials of life, knowing that our Lord will soon come and rescue us from this present evil world. So hang in there, because He that shall come, will come and without delay. He promised to deliver his people from all of their affections (Psalms 34:19)

    Pursuing The Kingdom of God

We are citizens of the Kingdom of heaven (Phil. 3:20). As Kingdom Citizens, Jesus, in His Sermon points out the importance of having a heavenly perspective and urges us to pursue the Kingdom of God above all else. He says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Mat. 6:33). In other words, our lives should be directed by God’s principles and purposes rather than our own selfish ambitions and goals.

    The Book of Revelation

The book of Revelation is an unveiling of Jesus Christ in all of his glory; in fact the entire Bible is really His-story, that is, it is all about Him. The Apostle John first sees in a vision of the glorified Christ. Secondly, he is told by Christ to write to the 7 churches of Asia Minor, who represent the entire church age. Thirdly, he wrote about the future judgment of God’s wrath upon the ungodly and Christ’s ultimate triumph over all his enemies. In this message Bishop Frye focuses mainly on our preparation for the coming of Jesus Christ, in the Rapture. What are we to do until Jesus comes back? That’s the million dollar question. 1. We should be spreading the good news about what Jesus has done to save us from the wrath of God. 2. We should be operating in our priestly office in constant prayer, because our ultimate goal is to reign with Christ in His eternal kingdom.
