    Thinking of Others before Ourself

    HOT DAMN this is an episode that I've wanted to get out for a while because I believe this message is so damn important. We live in a society where we are constantly consuming other peoples problems without taking the question of "Am I in a good place mentally to take on this extra baggage?" and vice versa when we are needing to talk to someone about our problems - instead of just unloading it, we need to consider whether or not they're in a good place too. Get ready to learn how and why we should set boundaries for ourself and others before consuming the problem.

    DON’T WAIT UNTIL IT’S TOO LATE

    This is a heavy one!!! At the beginning of this episode, I give a trigger warning (that I'm extending to here) for anyone who's dealt with losing a parent/loved one or anyone who has dealt with an alcoholic family member. I'm dedicating this episode to my dad, because I really wish I wouldn't have waited until it was too late. I won't say too much here because I pour my heart out through this episode. A reminder though - the weight of regret is a lot more than you think.

    I bet you've heard things like "Life isn't a race" or "There's no need to be in a hurry" and this episode talks about how we are in a race, maybe not against anyone else, but we are in one against the small version of ourself that's try to keep up where we are. If we aren't happy and haven't been for some time, why wouldn't we be racing towards a peaceful mind? Why wouldn't we be racing towards a better outcome? We don't have time to waste, so lace up and listen up because the race has started and we need to get running for our life.
