    Combative to Collaborative

Looking to turn your co-parenting relationship around? This week we're talking to author Teresa Harlow who wrote a book that focuses on how to turn a combative co-parenting relationship into a collaborative one. She's walking the walk and has researched the topic in depth to bring you actionable insights to try today! Guest Info: Teresa Harlow has spent more than 20 years co-parenting and another 30 years in corporate settings building a "can-do" philosophy. She's helped teams and individuals achieve feats they thought were impossible. She says she did this by provoking them to think differently and question limits they imposed on themselves and others. Teresa believes that once a person is liberated to think beyond their present state, I worked with them to define their path to recast the impossible as possible. 4. Treating People Like People

    04/11/2022

    Treating People Like People

Changing the way we "see" people can shift the kind of relationship we have with them. In co-parenting, this comes into play because there's always something we can be doing better to improve the relationship even if you think your co-parent is the difficult, "high conflict" co-parent. Guest Info: Kimberly White is an author and public speaker who focuses on how we can improve our relationships by choosing what we focus on in others. In this episode, Kimberly dives in to her first book called The Shift to illustrate her point that when we "treat people like people" great things can happen inside ourselves and to the relationship dynamic. Kimberly spent nine months of research for The Shift included dozens of hours working alongside nursing home employees in offices, showers, vans, patient rooms, kitchens, and one very creepy basement.
