    Young Queensland police officer stood down after being charged with on-duty misconduct

    The Queensland Police Service has confirmed a 23-year-old male constable from the southern region has been charged in relation to alleged misconduct in public office. The officer has been charged with s92A Misconduct in Public Office under the Criminal Code, allegedly committed while on duty.     Queensland Police Officer charged.

    A 30-year-old male Constable from the Brisbane Region has been charged in relation to alleged computer hacking offences.The member has been charged with three counts of computer hacking and misuse and one count of misuse of restricted computer and cause detriment allegedly committed while on and off duty.The member has been stood down from the Queensland Police Service and is expected to appear in the Cleveland Magistrates Court on 27 October.
