    On this episode of Conversations with Daisy Jones, I sit down with Ed and Tiffany Rahming, two retired Army Chief Warrant Officers, for a remarkably intimate conversation about marriage, family, faith and Raising Disciples. But we start where I love to start, with their story. Ed and Tiffany take us back to when they first met as two young enlisted soldiers serving on active duty. We talk about their journey toward marriage and the conversations they had early on about family, children and how they wanted to raise them. And today, their household is full. They have two daughters together, and they are also raising two nieces as their own. Their youngest is five and has been in their care since she was a baby. Their oldest, a 41-year-old niece with special needs, is also part of their household and family life. Add to that Ed’s life as a business owner, and you begin to understand why this conversation about raising disciples is about much more than parenting. Ed shares some deeply personal thoughts about fatherhood and family that I believe will resonate with many people. We talk about faith, discipline, grace, responsibility, marriage, the influence of culture, and what it means to prepare children to eventually live out their own relationship with God.
