43: Don't Bombard Your Audience With Needless Information

Let’s get physical! Today we’re going to talk about the physical parts of your offer- i.e. anything tangible (think workbooks, swag, meal plans, etc) but also the modules of your digital courses. Essentially, anything that the client gains access to after they purchase your offer. But how much emphasis should you be placing on those tangible things in your sales copy? What should you be highlighting on your sales page and in your sales emails to emphasize the big picture results you’re promising?  In this episode, we’re going to take a closer look at: Why knowing your audience is critical  How taking into account their past experiences can help you in your offer Becoming more familiar with your audience helps you know exactly what parts of your offer you need to emphasize to get them to buy. Remember: you’re selling a possibility, and you don’t need to clutter that up with endless lists of all the things your clients will get. The desired transformation will look different for every customer, so paint them a broader picture, and let them fill in their own blanks. 42: I Couldn’t Help but Wonder: Is Narrative Structure the Secret to Effective Sales Page Copy?

One of the most common mistakes I see in sales copy is a lack of narrative structure. Most of the time, this issue lives on the sales page. I’m not saying you need to weave an epic tale of love loss and adventure), but infusing key storytelling elements into the foundations of what you’re offering goes a long way in enlivening your copy and making it more likely to connect and convert. In this episode we’ll talk more about: Why a narrative structure is important in your copy How informative, engaging copy can save you time and energy Again, I’m not telling you to tell a tale worthy of an Oprah endorsement… but some well-crafted, compelling copy that reveals a bit more about YOUR story can go a long way in attracting clients. It makes you relatable, and makes your potential customer feel like they know you and can trust your intentions.
