    #86 - THE FORGOTTEN BvS - Batman Vs Superman Asylum (Feat. Zach Moore)

    "Here's the thing about blood.  You develop a taste for it. Then a thirst...And I knew if I started killing, I wouldn't stop..." Ten years on from BvS, we discuss how different it could have been! Rob is joined by Always Hold Onto Smallville host Zach Moore to discuss one of the many ill-fated attempts at reactivating the dormant Batman and Superman film franchises: the unproduced screenplay for Batman Vs Superman: Asylum from all the way back in June 2002, written by Andrew Kevin Walker with revisions by Akiva Goldsman (although apparently it was a lot more than that!).  The script features a retired Batman, a despondent Superman, an imprisoned Luthor, a clone of the Joker, some pretty bonkers twists and the kind of Kryptonite-powered continuity headaches only found in a 2000s DC script. All this and more!     #83 - Flight to Metropolis! Visiting the locations of SUPERMAN IV - the most underrated superhero film ever

    "I just wish you could all see the Earth the way that I see it. Because when you really look at it, it's just one world..." Rob and Alan are BACK from an unforgettable trip to Milton Keynes, the untouched shopping village where Superman IV: The Quest for Peace infamously shot the majority of its location scenes. We talk all about the incredible trip, enjoying the sights and sounds and taking the same steps as Christopher Reeve, Margot Kidder and the cast of the much maligned Super-sequel. Plus, hear some audio from the trip, as we meet friends and fellow fans for the first time.    We also dive back into the topic of the film itself - there are questions to ask and it is time for us to do so. Can the mythical deleted content save the film or will simple trims save the day? Do the special effects need a full overhaul or should they be left as-is? It's a heated discussion, with Alan (a critic of the film) advocating for precise cuts to enhance the entertainment value, while Rob (a longtime defender of the film) champions a mostly full reinstatement of all that was lost to strengthen the substance of Christopher Reeve and director Sidney J. Furie's original vision for the film.     #81 - Masters of the Universe and 007 First Light Review Discussion

    "By the Power of Grayskull!" Alan and Rob re-unite after a lengthy hiatus, tiptoeing away from the DC Universe to discuss whether or not Travis Knight's Masters of the Universe has the power. Did the film live up to Alan's nostalgia for the Filmation cartoon and all the toys? Did Fisto and Ram Man live up to the source material? What about Alan's daughter's reaction? As a childless newcomer who didn't grow up with MotU, was there anything here for Rob? Plus, we consider the film's lukewarm box office and whether or not this spells doom for the future of the franchise.  Later, the lads discuss the triumphant return of Agent 007 to the world of videogames in "007 First Light". We take a look back at the history of Bond in gaming from Timothy Dalton's "lost" third film "James Bond: The Duel" for Sega Genesis, through the multitude of successful 3D games for N64, PlayStation and beyond including legendary games like Goldeneye, 007 Nightfire and Everything or Nothing.  How does the new game stack up against the classics?  Does the game's decision to retell the origin of 007 pay off?
