Such a fun podcast! Just wanted to say that you will not get the full ACOTAR experience AT ALL without reading the second book!! Not even close. The series takes a complete turn and it’ll make you question everything you’ve ever known in the first book. There’s a reason it’s become as wildly popular as it has and basically has a cult following and it’s not because of the first book, that’s for sure. Some people think the first one could be passed off as just a prologue but its essential to have that first book to really have the second book and the rest of the series hit hard. By the time you finish the series (or even just the second book!), you’ll look back on the first book and say oh sweet summer child, how innocent I was. It will feel like a lifetime ago. Side note, I always thought Feyre couldn’t figure out the answer to the riddle because she never really knew what love was, she’s never had much of it, if any, in her life to know what it is and grasp it in all of its beautiful and painful facets, that’s why it never came to her. Hope you guys decide to read A Court of Mist and Fury and do an episode on it!
