Episode 17- Apprenticeship: The Heartbeat of Multiplication (Part 3)

In this final episode of our three-part series on multiplication, we explore apprenticeship as the core way groups reproduce leaders. The conversation unpacks the biblical model, three convictions for why apprenticeship matters, and a practical four-stage process—observe, help, lead with support, and release. Listeners will walk away with concrete steps to invite, train, and release apprentices in their community groups, along with a simple action to start this week: identify one person, pray for them, give a small role, and debrief afterward.

Episode 16- From Maintenance to Multiplication: Raise Leaders, Not Just Members (Part 2)

In this episode of Equipped to Lead, we explore how community group leaders can move from doing everything themselves to equipping others so the group can multiply. The discussion addresses the danger of the do-it-all trap and highlights small, practical steps—inviting someone to pray, lead a question, or host—so people can grow into leadership. Episode 15- From Addition to Multiplication: Raising Leaders Who Multiply (Part 1)

In this episode of Equipped to Lead, we explore the difference between addition and multiplication in group leadership. Drawing from Paul’s instruction in 2 Timothy 2:2 and Jesus’ model of intentional discipleship, leaders are urged to shift from doing everything themselves to raising apprentices who can guide others. Episode 13- Simple Ways to Be Missional: Everyday Gospel Living (Part 1)

This episode explores how regular rhythms—like coffee shops, workplaces, and neighborhoods—can become spaces of gospel hospitality and belonging. Practical tips include being a regular in local spots, serving neighbors through small acts, inviting people to group gatherings, and practicing “168 living”—following Jesus through all hours of the week. Leaders are encouraged to consider where they already spend time and how to be intentionally missional there, creating belonging before belief.

Episode 12- Life on Mission: Shaping a Group that Serves

In this episode, community group leaders are guided through how mission begins with care inside the group and then moves outward—loving neighbors nearby, serving city partners like Choice’s Women’s Clinic and Hungerford Elementary, and supporting global partners. It offers practical steps: pray for names, meet needs, partner with local ministries, and adopt a global partner. Leaders are encouraged to start simple, lead with prayer, notice needs, and take small, intentional steps of service. The episode also previews a new series on living missionally in everyday life.
