These past two years have had me deep in my podcast bag, and the timing of this one could not feel more perfect! It also could not feel more relatable (the Travis Alabanza and Michelle de Swarte episodes especially, as a fellow genderqueer Black Jew, were *chef’s kiss*) I’ve been an all killa listener for a minute as well, and really appreciate the commentary you make in each episode! I like the way you speak on the social climates and intersecting struggles that victims and survivors were negotiating in their times, and love the conversations that guests have on this show about how they negotiate their circumstances in this world, but keep our imaginations and creative selves alive through clothing and dressing! It really is an art form, and especially one which nourishing in a majority white empire-nation that stays disappearing and tokenizing working-class, Black and indigenous, trans and queer, and women and people is so empowering to have for ourselves. I’ve been going through a bit of a creative dry spell and this has woken something up in me today, i just started illustrating again! Thank you, Kiri!! - Lu
