    Releasing Emotional Attachments - Organise & Thrive Summit

    What we do in one area of our life, we do in all areas. You may have heard this saying before yet have you been using it as the powerful tool that it really is. Our relationships with others mirror our relationship with ourselves. The way you show up in business could reflect patterns in your personal habits, such as your approach to working out. It's common to focus intensely on one specific area, believing that resolving it will make everything else fall into place. While this can be true, the key to unlocking our potential often lies in the areas we tend to avoid... something worth considering! Although organising the home is not my usual focus, in this week's podcast, I share an interview I had with Chelsea Perry on the Organise and Thrive Summit, where we spoke about how our emotions can hinder our actions due to the attachments we form with our belongings. These attachments can lead to clutter in both our physical spaces and our minds. There's the wonderful saying, "As within, so without." Our external environment reflects our internal state, including the spaces where we spend our time.     Why Pushing Harder Isn’t Working and What to Do Instead

    You're doing the inner work, taking action, and yet still seeing minimal change, if any! Maybe you've been internalising this struggle and started wondering if something is wrong with you!  Seeing others achieve wonderful things while your progress seems slow can be disheartening. You know you have the power to change your reality, but sometimes you wish you didn’t know that. Life seemed simpler when you thought things were just as they were, with no way to change them. You're pushing and pushing, sometimes you're high and then others, you feel like giving up... it's exhausting! It's easy to forget that manifestation is meant to be fun! But when it doesn't seem to work, it can feel heavy. The more you push against life, the more it pushes back. The path to everything you desire is right in front of you, you just haven't seen it yet.    The world acts as a mirror, reflecting back to us where we believe we’re not free. By revealing the unconscious patterns, beliefs, and programmes that run our lives, we can release the resistance that keeps them in place. Once the resistance is gone, they no longer hold any power over us. In this week's podcast episode, I share my own journey on the road to self-acceptance – embracing myself exactly as I am, where I am right now.     The Illusion of External Peace: Why Avoidance Isn’t the Answer

    Time to hit block on those annoying people? You've probably been there at some point... wanting to hit "block" on someone or something that annoys you! Maybe it’s a person on social media, a challenging friendship, or even an unfulfilling job and you believe that eliminating these annoyances will bring you peace. But will it really? Whilst it may seem like the obvious thing to do, blocking or discarding things we don’t like might not be the best solution. While it’s true that your environment - including who with, where and how you spend your time - plays a crucial role in your support and growth, simply blocking out the things that bug you without addressing the underlying issues won’t bring lasting peace. The external world is a reflection of your inner state, and those unresolved triggers will follow you wherever you go. In this episode, I share why it's important to face and resolve these triggers head-on. Taking responsibility for your internal state is the inner work, and when you do that, you’ll find that your external circumstances start to change as well. Creating change begins with creating the life you want from where you are right now, rather than waiting for external changes to make you feel differently. Although they don't always feel like it, the challenges and triggers we face are actually gifts. They reveal where we need to release resistance and align more closely with our true desires. By mastering our emotions and beliefs, we can navigate any circumstance without being thrown off course.
