What Counts as Sexual Violence? The Silence Around Definitions - The Kintsugi Way

The Kintsugi Way is a charity dedicated to supporting women who have experienced sexual abuse or rape, helping them rebuild their lives with resilience and strength. Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi—where broken pottery is repaired with gold to highlight its history rather than hide its imperfections—we believe in empowering survivors to embrace their journey and find beauty in their healing process. www.thekintsugiway.co.uk @thekintsugiway Donate: https://www.justgiving.com/charity/thekintsugiway Featured in this podcast: Women Are Angry - Jennifer Cox No Offense But - Gina Martin

Exposing real life 'Horror' - Chelsea Kania and Saint Maria's Way

‘Saint Maria's Way’, shortlisted for Screamfest 2024, started from Chris Turner and writer Chelsea Kania’s frustration with the increasingly dire lack of safety for women on the street at night. The numerous well-publicised cases in which CCTV was pivotal to the investigation of the crimes committed against women were part of what gave way for the idea.
